Dunbar Cave is one of the county's largest caves, measuring eight miles in length. The vast space has hosted a variety of concerts, dances, and events. The cave's great historic, geological, and archaeological significance is highlighted throughout, and you can even see some old cave drawings that are supposed to be part of some type of religious ceremony. The cave maintains a constant temperature of 58 degrees, so bring a jacket.

3. Liberty Park & Clarksville Marina 

Liberty Park & Clarksville Marina is a great place to have a summer picnic. The park areas are open during daylight hours, and the marina and boat ramps are open at all times. Playgrounds developed by the community, a 10-acre fishing pond, a nearly 2-mile walking track, access to the Cumberland River, various picnic shelters, sports fields, and an event center are all available. If you're traveling with your pet, there's also a dog park.

4. McGregor Park Riverwalk

McGregor Park Riverwalk is attractive and well-kept. It's a wonderful area to unwind and take in the surroundings.

5. Fort Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center

Visit the Fort Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center to learn about the site's significance in the Civil War as well as the site's 200-year history. The location was previously inhabited by Native Americans, and when settlers arrived, the place became a trading post. Exhibits on the events that occurred in the area can also be seen in the Interpretive Center.
