You can get around West Hollywood and the surrounding cities by bus, the city operates two free bus systems, the Cityline and the PickUp Line. Getting a cab is also an efficient, dependable, and inexpensive way to get around, but you have to call for a ride. People also use ridesharing apps such as Uber and Lyft. These apps arrange low-cost rides with members of the community. You can use your smartphone or a computer to arrange a ride.

Must-Visit Places in West Hollywood

There are more things to do in West Hollywood than just going to the Sunset Strip, which is amazing by the way. You can go to the Comedy Store and see all the huge stand-up stars, or take an architecture tour of the Schindler House. Attend live concerts by local artists at the world-famous Troubadour. Another must-visit place is the Roxy. In its 30-plus years as a Sunset Strip stalwart, the Roxy has been a major player, hosting early Springsteen and Guns N’ Roses shows. But following a 2014 deal with promoter Goldenvoice, the Roxy has seen a surge of worthwhile talent stopping by.
