“The Garden City” is St. Catharines' nickname since it has many lush parks, gardens and trails. It is located in south-central Ontario and is the largest city in Canada's Niagara region. St.Catharines Landmarks

St. Catharines has various must-visit attractions. The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Center is a place where you can see freighters from around the world climb the Niagara Escarpment on a stairway of Water. You will also discover how the canals are built and developed throughout the last 150 years. There is an exhibition dedicated to the city’s history and canals. Its photos capture the moving moments of coming home after the end of World War II. If you want to go on a picnic or take some photos, the Morningstar Mill is the ideal place for you. It is another picturesque site located at Decew Falls fully operated by water. It shows you the innovative spirit of the 19th century where water was used to grind grain and wheat into flour and grind rye, barleycorn and oats into animal feed. 

St.Catharines Universities

St. Catharines has multiple leading universities. Brock University, one of the top post-secondary universities in Canada, ranks 29 among the Canadian universities with two campuses; St. Catharines and Hamilton, Ontario. The University offers several undergraduates, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in 7 faculties. If you are passionate about health, Brock Department of Health Sciences offers the only undergraduate degree programmes of its kind in Canada.
