Canadian Museum for Human Rights is the city's state-of-the-art landmark. Six levels high museum with 11 galleries are there for you to explore. It is no doubt an important Canadian cultural institution. In addition to the galleries, there is the Israel Asper Tower of Hope as well, where you can see the best views of the city.

There’s also the Assiniboine Park Zoo which is home to a wide variety of animals, flora, and fauna. Huge importance is offered to creatures of the northern latitudes, which includes a significant number of polar bears, though there are also some rare species such as the Siberian tiger and red kangaroo. You must also visit the 4-8-2 steam train and the world-famous Leo Mol Sculpture Garden. 

Transportation in Winnipeg

Winnipeg Transit buses cost $2.50 and you can only pay the fare by cash. However, tickets and monthly passes are available at select retail outlets.

Don't try and call a cab on the street as taxis are booked here or you can call one of the two main taxi companies (Unicity - Duffy’s) anytime you want a taxi at the moment.
