Birmingham City University City South Campus comprises three buildings; Seacole Building, Bevan House and Ravensbury House. The Seacole Building opened in 2006 after a renovation of £30 million with an Integrated Quality award in 2007 awarded by the Birmingham City Council. In September 2011 all students of health and social care were founded on the Cité South Campus with the completion of a £2 million teaching building. There is also a new building with a new suite for courses in sport and life sciences. With £41 million in development from the Edgbaston University City South Campus, speciality laboratories and educational facilities are provided for new programmes. The school of education will also provide a new home to help develop the future generation of tea.

The City South Campus provides a diverse selection of courses in health and social care, education (both teacher and non-teacher), life sciences, and sports.

Practical learning facilities, such as a mock operating theatre and hospital wards, labs and sports clinics, and specialised education facilities, are available to students. The only mock operating theatre in an English institution, as well as a cutting-edge radiography virtual clinical training facility, a virtual ward, and a virtual case creator, are the most outstanding facilities on the campus. The City South Campus also contains a virtual radiotherapy suite and a simulated home setting for visual rehabilitation students to learn how to treat persons who have lost their sight to some extent or completely. There is a dedicated resource room for Speech and Language Therapy students equipped with a two-way mirror, allowing them to practise and improve their communication abilities. The hospital ward, Birthing room, Simulation mannequins, Operating theatre, Laboratories, Sports Facilities, Mary Seacole library, Computer Facilities, and more are waiting for you to freely use and develop your skills.
