Festivals are abundant in Auckland, Shipwrecked Music & Arts Festival is one of the famous festivals in the city. It is usually held near Lake Tomarata close to the hustle of the city, however, far enough to enjoy stunning green scenery in the area. It includes excellent musical performances and Djing parties. There are also many vendors to buy food to enjoy your day without worries. Latin Festival is another festival worth checking out. It is a celebration of all the Latin art and culture in the city. Latin dancers fill the stage with their presence in this event, and food vendors prepare fresh Latin delicacies to celebrate the occasion.
Public transportation in Auckland are a lot; there are buses, trains and even ferries. Some buses operate during peak-time while others operate 24/7. Bayes Coachlines, Birkenhead Transport, Go Bus, NZ Bus, Pavlovich Coachlines are few of the available bus operators in the city. There are four main rail lines providing connections to the different areas of Auckland, Eastern Line, Southern Line, Western Line and Onehunga Line. Moreover, Ferries connect the city with islands of the Hauraki Gulf.
