Yes, but only with the written consent of SRS and if you meet one of the approved release criteria.
When can I be released from my contract?
You may be eligible for an early release if you do not commence your course, are suspended from studying at the University, or withdraw from your studies.
What do I need to do if I withdraw or suspend my studies?
You must submit a Release from Accommodation Request Form and obtain confirmation from the Academic Registry that you have withdrawn from or suspended your studies.
How long can I remain in the accommodation after submitting a release request?
You may remain in the accommodation for up to 6 weeks after submitting the Release from Accommodation Request Form. This period is intended to give you time to arrange alternative accommodation or travel plans.
Where can I find the full contract termination terms?
The full terms relating to ending the licence are outlined in Clause 13 of the tenancy agreement.
