About Trinity Square Roost
Nottingham is home to the deepest-toned bell in Britain, the 10.5-tonne bell ‘Little John’. Sounding out once every 15 minutes, the clock bell is reportedly the loudest of its kind in the country and reports state that its strike can be heard several miles away from the city.
Trinity Square is a student housing in Nottingham that offers two types of rooms that you can choose from. The first type is the en-suites, which feature single or small double beds with under bed storage, workspaces, wardrobes and private bathrooms. Residents get access to the shared kitchen and living area.
Studios, on the other hand, the second type of rooms, are all self-contained. They come with private kitchenettes in addition to private bathrooms. They also feature essential amenities such as double beds, wardrobes and storage spaces.
Trinity Square offers superfast Wi-Fi, free contents insurance and secure deposit. It has on-site laundry facilities, bike storage, communal lounges with big TVs and an outdoor courtyard where you breathe the fresh air. The property offers a free parcel receipt service. It has a 24/7 staff and maintenance team offering help around the clock.
Trinity Square is based right in Nottingham city centre making it one of the best-located PBSAs, with many places to go, things to see, and activities to do surrounding it. Watch the latest movies at Cineworld, attend plays at Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall, or go to live concerts at Rock City.
You can also go to Old Market Square and clear your head watching the beautiful water fountains. Restaurants around you give lots of options to choose from. Turtle Bay specialises in Carrebian food, while Tamatanga is an Indian restaurant. For the best African Bird’s Eye Chilli, which is more commonly known as PERi-PERi; no other place can beat Nando’s.
Nottingham Trent University is just a 5-minute walk away from the property. While its Business School (NBS) is 4 minutes away on foot.
More than 6 bus stops surround the property. Burton Street (Stop T7) is just a minute walk away; while NTU City Campus (Stop G1) is 2 minutes away on foot.

A booking is considered complete when there is:

Choose Your Room
A 10–25m² en-suite room featuring a single or small double bed, under-bed storage, workspace, a wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and access to the shared kitchen.

An 18–36m² self-contained studio featuring a double bed, under-bed storage, workspace, wardrobe, TV with Freeview, en-suite bathroom and a private kitchen.

International students can pay monthly, termly or annually for long-term bookings without a UK guarantor.
Bookings made before 1st August:
7-Day Cooling Off Period
If you decide to cancel your accommodation booking within 7 days of accepting your tenancy agreement, you will receive a full refund of your booking fee.
If you secure your accommodation and then cancel it due to the following reasons:
- Failure to receive grades (all academic years)
- Failure to obtain a VISA (all academic years)
- Studying in an alternative City
Official written evidence from the University (and/or UCAS/relevant VISA authorities) must be sent directly to the Property Team within 3 calendar days of the results or decision being published. If sufficient evidence is provided, you will be eligible for release from the tenancy agreement and the full booking fee will be returned.
If none of the above reasons is applicable, you will be required to find a replacement person to take over your tenancy. Any bookings made after 1st August will have a 24hr cooling off period
After Cooling Off Period
Students can cancel after the cooling-off period for the following reasons:
- Failure to receive grades
- Failure to obtain a visa
- Studying in an alternative city
- The pre-sessional English language course required to take up their university place is cancelled
- Government travel restrictions prevent them from travelling to the UK.
- They are enrolled on a face-to-face course, and the University delays the start of the course.
Bookings made on or after 1st August 2020
If you book your accommodation after 1st August 2020, your cooling-off period will reduce to 24 hours only from the point of acceptance. If you cancel your booking within these 24 hours, your full deposit will be returned. Should you wish to cancel after these 24 hours, the previous procedures will apply depending on your circumstances.
We will seek to delay the start of the tenancy for any new residents who were due to arrive in the UK, but cannot check-in because of flight cancellations, visa delays or travel restrictions.
For residents who have already checked in and can’t return to their Student Roost home because of the restrictions in the UK, we’re pleased to offer a discount of up to 6 weeks’ rent. This will largely affect UK domestic students, but may also affect some international students who travelled home for the holidays.
