Since its inception in 2006, Community Revival’s aim has been to actively assist individuals in achieving a higher quality of life. Its only objective is to serve the community by providing high-quality service. It provides English language lessons in Chorlton, Manchester, and Sheffield, in addition to its free classes. The British Council has approved the college’s private English language lessons in Manchester and Sheffield.
Community Revival (UK) is a non-profit, volunteer organisation that is limited by guarantee. As its name suggests, it exists to revitalise the local community via a variety of programmes such as training, education, employment, entertainment, and social events. The bulk of its beneficiaries are from the BME community, Community Revival works with people from all walks of life. Over 1500 students have finished English classes at the college, boosting their confidence, self-esteem, and job prospects. It also encourages social activities in order to strengthen social cohesiveness.
Community Revival delivers a variety of courses including English Language (ESOL) classes, from Beginner to Advanced level and IELTS preparation. It provides Free Skills for Employment, Functional Skills Courses, and Courses for Businesses in Greater Manchester (Chorlton) and Sheffield. The college is also qualified to issue Awards, Certificates, and diplomas. It also has Children’s Tuition Classes for KS1, KS2, 11+, KS3, GCSE, A-Level.
Facilities at Community Revival include Guidance, Advice, and Information (IAG) which employs highly certified and experienced IAG professionals who will give you unbiased advice and guidance before you ever enrol. Support is provided while students are with us and continue long after they have gone to further education or work. Our goal is for you to get the most out of your learning experience while also feeling at ease with the local community.
All of the rooms on campus are outfitted with the necessary technology, resources, and learning materials, which are available in paper-based, audio/visual, and online formats. Furthermore, the well-stocked Chorlton Public Library is within a few minutes walk from campus. Wi-Fi Internet connection is accessible across the campus, giving free, high-speed access via a variety of desktop computers or laptops.
On the ground floor, there is an independent restaurant, while the Chorlton neighbourhood itself offers several cafés, fast-food restaurants, coffee shops, and delicatessens within a 5-minute walk. Community Revival is perhaps the only educational institution that provides free tea and coffee to all students on-site! Trips to the bowling alley, the Trafford Centre, or even farther afield to the Lake District or Alton Towers are frequently organised. On a monthly basis, the college urges students to bring a traditional food item and share it with their peers at the Bring-a-Dish party.
Community Revival can assist students in securing comfortable and inexpensive housing before beginning their studies. Students can arrange for a pick-up from the airport and transportation to temporary accommodations, if necessary, while their term-time housing is being verified. Community Revival collaborates with a variety of renting agencies to guarantee students can reside close to campus.
A lot of prominent institutions surround the Community Revival. In only a 12-minute drive, you will reach The University of Manchester, after a 9-minute drive you’ll find yourself at the Manchester Metropolitan University, and within a 16-minute drive, The University of Law will be in front of you.
