Payment & Cancellation
Payment Terms
- Tenants have to pay council tax separately if staying longer than 90 days (unless the tenant is a student which means they can request an exemption themselves)
- Dual occupancy available with an additional £100 per month fee for the additional occupant.
- International students can provide proof of income, such as a steady job, or pay upfront for their whole stay, if they do not have a UK-based guarantor. If they cannot satisfy either requirement BUT still want to pay monthly, yes, they have to have a UK-based guarantor.
Cancellation Policy
- To terminate early, a tenant has to give us one month’s written notice. We will then assess if they owe an early termination fee, which is only owed if they have spent less than 10 months with us. It is calculated based on the amount of time they have stayed with us, as well as on how much time is left of their original contract.
