Good accommodation.

Honestly one of the worst experiences living with Unite students. There is literally no peace of mind in these buildings, which are supposed to be most stress free to allow students to focus. Firstly, in my one of my first nights in to their accommodations, I had been out all day and when I came home to get rest I had realized my items were missing from my room! I had a new printer and lighting stolen in which I was very lucky that I haunt fully moved in or else who knows what else would have been stolen that day! This was literally a shock to me after their advertised 24/7 security service which I had paid for in my rent... I had reported it immediately and the security did look around and investigate in cameras but came out with no results and after no further investigation was done into my case as if it never happened! When I asked about this the staff told me that there was no way this would have happened and basically were putting me on the spot as if I had something to do with it!! I was completely outraged but still just tried to do a basic insurance file as it was not my fault my items had been missing, which was also not raised as in issue for me. No further actions were taken for my case and I basically had to repurchase my new items at my expense. Even after this occurrence I had continued to reside in the accommodation for my tenancy term as I was still paying weekly. I had then left the accommodation during the Covid-19 pandemic but I was expecting a parcel to come in which was shipped to me at my accommodation address before I had left. I did get an email from my building saying even if you have left you can collect your parcels before they are put away after the 4 weeks of no collection. Thankfully, I was able to travel back somehow just to collect my parcel since it had contained sentimental items shipped to me from my family, these were items that were of high value for me and hence it was shipped fully tracked and signed. I had proof of tracking and signature for the delivery, signed by a building worker named Cindy at 9:34am. Although when I arrived at the building within the week to collect my parcel I was informed it was not with them... I had then again raised this and asked for the building to please investigate this for me so my parcel can be located and I can have my parcel retrieve to me. After contacting them on 2 separate occasions myself, I had been forwarded a response by the building management and supervisor that nothing can be done and no investigation can be held since I do not reside in the building anymore!!! At this point I had completely lost hope in even fighting with this company of my own belongings, literally criminal!! I had only left the building due to THE PANDEMIC not BY CHOICE and they tell me that I cannot retrieve my stuff anymore even after paying them their FULL RENT. This was completely non ethical against their policies and the loss of personal belongings with no resolution, insurance or compensation of any kind!! FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR STUDENT ACCOMMODATION, STAY FAR AWAY FROM UNITE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR TENATS SAFETY AND BELONGINGS WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU THE SERVICES YOU HAVE PAID FOR! You are literally better off flat sharing or renting private then this nonsense.

Service to costing not appropriate. Very noisy, often we did not have warm water or no water (do not know if this is because of the area its located in). Residents usually borrow a vaccum cleaner from the reception, there is a strong shortage of it though (usually those are damaged). Most of the reception staff is friendly and helpful

I'd rate this building more as a 2.5. I had a decent stay here from April through August. Towards the end of July people started throwing their rubbish all over the floor in the bin store, so that resulted in the pests. I honestly hated going in there. The staff did tell the students to put store their rubbish properly in emails. The rooms themselves did not have any pests but it is true that it's very very hot in the summer. I wish I knew that they had no Air Con before I moved in and it should be since it's pretty expensive to live here. The people downstairs were always really nice to me and helped me with my concerns. when I moved in initially it was very quiet but more people moved in towards the end of my stay and it was not so pleasant to live there. The room itself is very small but it's good if you don't know anything about where to stay in London. There is a key to get in and out of the building. It is on a main road so it is very loud at times depending what part of the building you're in. It's in a really good location though.

Honestly, I feel so disappointed with Student Living Heights. After spending all these money to live 10 months there, certain members of the staff were very rude and unhelpful. Moreover, there were random people living there, not only students. It looked more like a hostel than a student accomodation. There are so many things that need to be improved to make this place value for money.
