About The Mews
The Mews is a student housing in Oxford providing students with accommodation close to their respective universities and institutions. The property has a wide selection of room types for students to choose from, including en-suite rooms and private self-contained studios, with accessible rooms being available as well. All rooms are fully furnished and come fitted with central heating, a ¾ double bed with under-bed storage, a wardrobe, drawers, bookshelves, a study area with a desk and a chair, and a private en-suite bathroom. The kitchens at this property, both shared and private, are mainly equipped with an oven, a hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, and a breakfast bar with stools. Other room contents include a vacuum cleaner, a mop and bucket, and an iron and ironing board. En-suite rooms have access to a shared lounge with a communal sofa and a TV.

This Oxford student home boasts a central city location that allows you to easily explore and venture around the city with its notable attractions and student-favoured destinations. Britain’s oldest botanical garden is located in Oxford; The Oxford Botanic Garden is located just a short 25-minute walk away from the property and is home to a variety of plant species both indoors and outdoors. The Oxford University Museum of Natural History houses exhibitions on zoology, entomology, and geology and is located a short 25-minute ride away. A 20-minute ride takes you to the renowned historical landmark, Oxford Castle and Prison, where you can take a guided tour and learn about the history of the place. Also 20 minutes away is Oxford’s unique Story Museum which features interactive exhibitions on storytelling as well as a cafe, and a gift shop. Several restaurants and food joints can be found in close proximity to this property. Of the nearby eateries at which you can grab a bite, Nando’s is 20 minutes away, Subway is a 14-minute walk away, and Happy Friday kitchen is nine minutes away on foot. You can do your grocery shopping and get your basic necessities at the nearby Sainsbury’s, which is located a mere 20-minute stroll from the property.

A 14m² en-suite room featuring a small double bed with under-bed storage, wardrobe, workspace, central heating, en-suite bathroom and a shared kitchen with a fridge/freezer, oven and hob, a microwave, toaster and a kettle, and a shared living area.
A 20m² self-contained studio featuring a small double bed with under-bed storage, wardrobe, workspace, bookshelves, Wi-Fi, en-suite bathroom, and a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, and kettle.

Paying in instalments for international students requires a UK guarantor.
Full payment is required upon booking for international students without a UK guarantor.
You may cancel the tenancy agreement that you have entered with by giving a written notice of your intention to cancel on the following basis:
(a) If your notice of cancellation is received by us in writing within 72 hours after you have submitted an application form and the period of the tenancy has not commenced, we will make no charge and the initial rental payment of £200 will be refunded in full; or
(b) If your notice of cancellation is received by us 72 hours after you have submitted an application form on or before 30th June 2023 and the period of the tenancy has not commenced, you may cancel your booking by writing to us provided that we will be entitled to retain £100 of the total initial rental payment; or
(c) If your notice of cancellation is received on or after the 1st July 2023, we will not accept a cancellation/surrender of your tenancy agreement for the Room until a replacement tenant is found for the Room. We shall endeavour to re-let the Room however cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. You will remain liable to pay the rent for the Room and all other charges and costs under your tenancy agreement for the period to the date that a replacement tenancy for the Room commences. We reserve the right to charge you a fee in the sum of £100 as a contribution towards our administration costs incurred in dealing with the surrender of the tenancy agreement and the sourcing of a new tenant.
If a replacement tenant is found for the Room, we will release you from your tenancy agreement with effect from the date that the new tenancy agreement for the Room begins.
In the event you fail to honour your contractual obligations in relation to the payment of rent on the due dates before occupation of the Room, we may cancel your tenancy agreement by giving you notice in writing of cancellation; in the circumstances we will not repay any advanced payments made by you to us.
In the event that we cancel the tenancy agreement at any time before occupation of the Room by you, we shall give you as much advanced written notice as we can in the circumstances and will repay the initial rental payment to you and any other fees that we have taken from you in connection with the
