About The Cube – Greenwich

Once, Trafalgar Square in London was home to gigantic flocks of feral pigeons, which locals and tourists fed or took pictures with. In 2003, London’s mayor imposed a ban on both feeding the pigeons and selling food anywhere near the square. If you’re lucky, you can even spot the hawk which keeps the pigeons at bay.

The Cube in Greenwich is a student housing in London that offers Standard Studios, Premium Studios, and Premium Plus Studios. Each of these Studios come with a big comfy bed, a study area, a wardrobe, drawers, and ample storage. Studios also come with private bathrooms and private kitchens is with 2 ring hobs, combi microwave ovens, and fridges/freezers.

The Cube in Greenwich is CCTV-monitored and has secure key access, all-inclusive bills, and offers free high-speed Wi-Fi and internet throughout the whole building. The facilities include onsite laundry rooms, a free onsite gym, secure bike storage, a common room, and a games area. The property also offers free parcel services.

The Cube is situated in Zone 2, a dynamic and exuberant place to live with great access to a range of amenities. Canary Wharf is a short journey away where you can find the hottest shops, cafés, and restaurants. It’s one of the finest places in east London. From parks like East Greenwich Pleasaunce to museums like Queen's House, everything is within your grasp.

You can watch the latest movie releases at ODEON Greenwich, or admire the art and even learn to make some of your own at Maze Hill Pottery. Plenty of restaurants are also there to serve you different kinds of cuisines whenever you’re hungry. Restaurants like Midpoint Restaurant, The Thai Garden Cafe, and Green Pea are all within walking distance.

I looked for so many places to rent before, but Cube Greenwich has been the best! Key takeaways: Feel safe (CCTV in corridor), friendly receptionist, nice room size, new building, immaculately clean rooms and they even have a small gym area! Also to add the lady namely Sandra who is guiding me through my application process is very helpful in explaining things clearly and replies promptly to my concerns, addressed them & most importantly resolving them! Customer service is 10/10, highly recommend! I look forward to moving in soon, thanks to Sandra! ?

The Cube Greenwich has become my second home for the last 6 months. I have been having an amazing experience, the room is very comfy and spacious. Important to note, the Cube staff is extremely friendly. I really enjoy my stay and would definitely recommend you to become a part of out Cube Greenwich family!

Don't book this place.... it's the worst place ever! Everything is broken (kitchen, fridge, bed, cupboard..).At the beginning of the year, everyone had to change rooms and move again because most of the rooms are broken. It was a mess. The rooms were so dirty. There was mold in the fridge it was sticky, and I could find hair everywhere. When I called someone to help me, they said it is my problem. There are fire alarms all the time and also water failures. Days without water. Since the reception is only open for a short time, no one can help. Moreover, it's really noisy. This building is trouble.

From the day I moved in here I had problems. My splashback in the kitchen was broken and so was the light in my bathroom. I was told it would be fixed the following week - why was it not fixed before I moved in? This was before the company had changed hands - however, since they have nothing has still been done coming up to almost one year later! I have never had anything fixed (despite multiple visits from maintenance who specifically told me that it is not that important and that they can’t be bothered to fix it!) There is hardly ever anybody at the reception. Hours are supposedly 10am - 3pm, but I often go down during those hours and more often than not, nobody is there or they come late and leave early. There is nobody to call for emergency maintenance, security, or entry issues either during out of hours. Also, doors downstairs (apart from main door) are always kept open and unlocked so it would be very easy for people to gain access, please lock your door! If you are considering living here this year, there is mass works going on directly behind the property (as they are adding another block to this property) so you will be hearing huge and disruptive amounts of noise all year that you can’t cancel out by shutting the windows. Furthermore, there has been multiple occasions of days with shortages of water and full days without WiFi. Not really what you should expect when you are paying such an astronomical price for a tiny, cheaply made and furnished room. This has always been when reception is empty - so no help there, they bother to fix it when they want to. Staff are often unhelpful yet they are rarely even here so there is not much they can do! The communal gym is seething with mould, which to this day still isn’t fixed (only painted over) so don’t use it unless you want to get ill. Plus fire alarms go off constantly as they are either faulty or the tiniest bit of smoke from the kitchen sets them off - we are told to pay £500 if we accidentally set them off! However, despite all of these issues they are still increasing prices, and you also won’t be able to get your deposit back if you put one down for this year I was told! I can’t stress enough - don’t live here unless you want loads of problems that will never be fixed, and staff that do not care to help you with problems that they are ultimately responsible for!
