Why Study at South Thames College
Founded in 1895, students had to pay what was then a substantial fee of £1 a term for day classes. Around 500 students were studying there, which was considered a large number back then. South Thames College now has over 21,000 students enrolled, and government-funded courses such as BTEC Nationals and A-levels are free for 16-19-year-olds.

Areas on offer include construction multi-trades, plumbing, electrical, bricklaying, tiling, CSCS cards, and employability skills.
