Why Study at London College of Communication
The college started when in 1894, St Brides Foundation Institute was established to provide specialist printing education. Over the years, the institute merged with a number of other schools and colleges with regard to its specialty in graphic art. In 1954, the first undergraduate graphic design course in Britain was established in the college by artist and designer, Tom Eckersley. The college then moved its location to Elephant and Castle in 1962 and is officially named London College of Printing. The college then got its current name in 2004 to showcase the diversity of courses. In 2017, the college launched Screen School which combines areas like film, television, and animation with emerging ones like games design and virtual reality.
