The Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine includes the School of Basic & Medical Biosciences, the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, the School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences, the School of Cardiovascular Medicine & Sciences, the School of Immunology & Microbial Sciences, the School of Life Course Sciences, and the School of Population Health & Environmental Sciences. 

Moreover, the Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences includes the Department of Chemistry, Department of Engineering, Department of Informatics, Department of Mathematics, and Department of Physics. 

As for the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, it is divided into the Cicely Saunders Institute of Palliative Care, Policy & Rehabilitation, the Department of Adult Nursing, the Department of Child & Family Health, the Department of Mental Health Nursing, the Department of Midwifery, and Midwifery & Palliative Care. 

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience is also divided into the Divisions of Academic Psychiatry, the Division of Neuroscience, and the Division of Psychology & Systems Sciences. 

Finally, the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy includes the International School for Government, the School of Education, Communication & Society, the School of Global Affairs, the School of Politics & Economics, and the School of Security Studies. 

KCL also offers postgraduate studies such as Master’s, research courses, and Doctoral Studies. Postgraduate studies are offered in many subjects and fields such as Comparative Literature, Film Studies, Geography, Engineering, Law, Global Affairs, and many more. Facilities and Resources

KCL offers King’s College student accommodation to undergraduate students and postgraduate students, guests and staff accommodation. A day-to-day cleaning and maintenance team are always available as well. The steps for booking your King’s College student accommodation are first to register your accommodation interest and mention any additional accommodation requirements if, for example, you have a severe medical condition. Second, wait for an invitation email that will contain a date and time for you to access the accommodation portal to book your room. Third, book your room by selecting room type and budget. The fourth and final step is to sign the contract, then you’ll receive a confirmation email of your license agreement, and that’s it!

Moving into King’s College Student Accommodation

KCL advises students to bring some of their room contents like their own bed linen and other bedding essentials, toiletries, laundry detergent, iron, and cooking utensils. Small electrical appliances such as laptops, printers, and small lamps are welcomed to bring as long as they fit the UK electrical system. Microwaves are standard in all kitchens.

Guest and Staff Accommodation

KCL provides short-term accommodation for guests and staff members. The university offers a 20% discount to staff members, and all rooms come with fresh linen, towels, and toiletries.
