Why Study at Coventry University London
Coventry University is a public research university in Coventry, England that traces back to the foundation of the Coventry School of Design in 1843. From 1970 until 1987, it was known as Lanchester Polytechnic, and then as Coventry Polytechnic until 1992, when the Further and Higher Education Act granted it university status, and the name was changed to Coventry University.
In order to recruit more foreign students to the institution, a campus in London was built in 2010. Coventry University College was established within the main university campus in 2012, giving credentials up to degree-level at a cheaper cost than usual university tuition. The Coventry campus is undertaking a £430 million investment program until 2022, with a new £37 million science and health building and £73 million student accommodation complex – both of which opened in 2017 and 2018, respectively – at the centre of the development project.
