Anglia Ruskin University’s origins date back to the Cambridge School of Art, which was founded in 1858 and became a university in 1992. It was then named after John Ruskin in 2005. Students can apply to this ARU student accommodation through the Residential Services Office; however, it isn’t owned or operated by ARU but rather by third parties. Nursing, midwifery, or operating department practice students who are studying a course that includes placement will be able to apply for ARU student accommodation at Hinchingbrooke Hospital or Addenbrooke's Hospital.
