Since Derby College doesn’t offer its own on-campus student accommodation, Casita offers off-campus Derby College student accommodation. The off-campus accommodation offered is usually just a couple of minutes’ walk from the university’s campus or just a short ride away from it. Almost all of these off-campus student accommodation options offer all-inclusive rents and Wi-Fi; the accommodation is usually fully furnished. Most of them also offer laundry services and a number of other facilities with a wide variety of prices as well.
Why Study at Derby College?
Derby College is a further education centre with sites located within Derbyshire. It was established in 2002 after merging Wilmorton Tertiary College, Mackworth Tertiary College, and Broomfield Agricultural College. Since then, Wilmorton College has been demolished and was turned into a housing estate, and Derby College built two new purpose-built sites: The Joseph Wright Centre (JWC) which specializes in A levels and The Roundhouse redevelopment which is the College’s flagship site that focuses on vocational qualifications. In February 2010, a merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved. The Derby College Group consists of Joseph Wright Centre, the Roundhouse, Ilkeston College, and Broomfield Hall.
