About UniLodge South Bank
UniLodge South Bank is a student housing in Brisbane that offers studios and different shared apartments. All units feature a kitchen; tables and chairs, a bathroom, a couch, a TV, and a chair; bedrooms with a bed; a wardrobe; and shelving.
The building features various amenities and services. They include Wi-Fi, a gym, laundry, vending machines, multilingual staff, BBQ grills, secured parking, and bike storage. Other services include a cinema room, a library/reading room, study rooms, community events, after-hours emergency staff, and a rooftop garden terrace.

The residence is located on Colchester Street, only a short walk from the centre of the city. Phat Boy is another nearby eatery offering Thai cuisine dishes in a trendy setting. If you’d like to have some burritos, Burrito Bar is just a five-minute walk from the property, and it offers Mexican fare in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
When you need to do some grocery shopping, Woolworths Metro Southpoint is just around the corner, and it has plenty of products at discounted prices to cater to your needs. After your bustling day on campus, we suggest you go for a casual evening stroll at South Brisbane Memorial Park, where you can enjoy the grassy fields and the lovely scenery. Over the weekend, you may enjoy a night out with your friends and watch the latest box office movies at the Cineplex South Bank movie theatre. You may also choose to go on a shopping spree at Queen Street Mall, where you’ll find lots of shops, stores, and boutiques. Another thing you can do during the weekend is visit the iconic Brisbane Sign and take pictures there while enjoying the water views.

***A bond is equivalent to four weeks rent. The bond is not the same as paying rent in advance. It will be refunded to the resident by the RTA once the apartment is vacated.

Southbank Parklands, which has many cafes and restaurants, is only a 5-minute walk away and Woolworths Supermarket is a short stroll away for any essentials.

No Visa No Pay Policy
Prior to the leasing agreement
If you were not successful in receiving a visa to study in Australia before the commencement of your lease start date, send a written email requesting cancellation. The email must be submitted to the property at which your booking is held within 24 hours of you receiving notification from the Department of Home Affairs, along with the email from the Department of Home Affairs advising your refusal notice to study in Australia. You will then be formally advised that your lease agreement will then be cancelled without penalty.
After the Leasing agreement
If you are cancelling after the commencement of your lease date due to not receiving a visa to study in Australia, we ask that you complete the following actions. Send a written email notification that you wish to terminate your lease. It must be submitted to the property at which your booking is held within 24 hours of you receiving notification from the Department of Home Affairs, along with the email from the Department of Home Affairs advising your refusal notice to study in Australia. The Property Manager will consider your request for the breaking of your lease and advise whether your request has been accepted.
The no visa, no pay policy only applies for the following UniLodge Properties: UniLodge @ Metro Adelaide, UniLodge South Bank, UniLodge Royal Melbourne, UniLodge Victoria University and UniLodge @ RMIT Bundoora - Walert House.
