It offers Cluster En-suites including 8 Bed, 7 Bed Standard, 7 Bed Premium, 6 Bed Standard, 6 Bed Standard Top floor, 6 Bed Premium, 6 Bed Premium Top Floor. Each of these en suites comes with a comfy bed with under-bed storage, a study space, a wardrobe, drawers, and a private bathroom. Residents share a kitchen with microwaves, an oven, a fridge freezer, a shared lounge area with a TV, and a shared dining area. <h3 dir="ltr" style="">Features</h3>This Exeter student accommodation, The City Arcade, offers free high-speed Wi-Fi and broadband, 24/7 CCTV with secure access, and all-inclusive bills. It has secure bike storage, on-site laundry facilities, as well as on-site management and maintenance teams. A variety of communal spaces are also available, such as a modern common lounge and a private dining area.Situated on the River Exe, Exeter is a city in Devon, South West England. There are 7 other places around the world called Exeter, including Towns in Canada, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. <h3 dir="ltr" style="">Places to Visit</h3><ul><li dir="ltr" style="">Exeter Picturehouse is just a short ride away from The City Arcade.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr" style="">Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery is also a short ride away from this Exeter student accommodation.</li><li dir="ltr" style="">Flowerpots Park is just a short stroll away from the residence.</li><li dir="ltr" style="">On The Waterfront is just a short walk away from the building.</li><li dir="ltr" style="">Taco-Macho is just around the corner from the property.</li></ul>*Students are able to book with us for September 2021 and cancel any time before the 23rd of August if they cannot travel to the UK to do travel restrictions. <ol><li dir="ltr">Holding Deposit&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">You’ll pay a holding deposit once you book your room. This is to secure your room.&nbsp;</li></ol><ul><li dir="ltr">It's important to note that the holding deposit is non-refundable if the tenancy agreement is not signed within a strict&nbsp;14-day period.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Once you sign your tenancy agreement, the holding deposit becomes a refundable security deposit. You’ll get it back after your tenancy is over if there’s no damage done to the room or the communal areas.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">&nbsp;By paying your holding deposit, you give full consent to use the details that you’ve provided to conduct a search against the sanction list in any chosen country. Note: You've got the right to prohibit any kind of search, but the provider won’t be able to proceed with your application.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">You can pay rent upfront or in instalments&nbsp;(with a UK guarantor)&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Relevant checks will be made to confirm your place at your university, and then you’ll receive an online offer with the tenancy agreement through the Student Portal online.</li><li dir="ltr">You’ll get a full refund on the holding deposit if the provider can’t offer you a room or a suitable alternative.&nbsp;</li></ul><ol start="3"><li dir="ltr">Cancellation within the cooling-off period</li></ol><ul><li dir="ltr">You can cancel within 14 days of receiving the accommodation offer and get a full refund of the holding deposit.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">You generally lose your holding deposit if you cancel after the cooling-off period.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Exception: You can get out of the tenancy agreement even after your cooling-off period if: &nbsp;</li></ul><ol><li dir="ltr">You’re a first-year undergraduate student who didn't get accepted to your chosen university or got accepted to a different one (with proof).</li><li dir="ltr">You couldn’t get a UK visa (with proof)&nbsp;</li></ol><ul><li dir="ltr">You might be released from the tenancy agreement and get some rent refunded (minus the holding deposit), if you find someone to replace you.&nbsp;</li></ul><ol start="4"><li dir="ltr">Period before you enter your tenancy agreement</li></ol>CRM Students have the right to return your holding deposit and cancel your booking if any of the following occurs:&nbsp;<ul><li dir="ltr">Provide any misleading information</li><li dir="ltr">If you fail to complete your application or provide grantor details and supporting documentation within a reasonable time.</li></ul><ol start="5"><li dir="ltr">Cancellation after moving in&nbsp;</li></ol>It’s hard to leave during your contract term; there are some alternative options, including:&nbsp;<ul><li dir="ltr">Find a replacement tenant who can take over your contract and who meets the specific criteria (age, student status, guarantor).&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">You’ll still pay a £50 administration fee, even if you find a replacement.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">If you still can’t find a replacement, you’re responsible for the full rent payment until the end of your contract.</li></ul><ol start="6"><li dir="ltr">Cancellation by CRM Students or the landlords</li></ol><ul><li dir="ltr">Your booking will be cancelled if you fail to do the following:&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 1. Fail to sign the tenancy agreement within 14 days of receiving the offer (outside the cooling-off period).&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2. If you didn’t check in on your start date (outside the cooling-off period). &nbsp;<ul><li dir="ltr">Once you sign your tenancy agreement, it can only be terminated by mutual agreement or under specific circumstances.&nbsp;</li></ul><ol start="7"><li dir="ltr">Room and tenancy changes&nbsp;</li></ol><ul><li dir="ltr">You can extend your tenancy before the start date (subject to availability). However, you can’t shorten your stay.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">&nbsp;You can change your start date if you want.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">If you wish to upgrade your room or move to a different room type that is the same type as the original, you can do so for free before your start date (subject to availability).&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Room swaps after the start date cost £50.</li></ul>

More than 6 bus stops are close to the property. Fore Street (Stop 11) is just a 2-minute walk away; while High Street (Stop 5) is 6 minutes away on foot.

The City Arcade

As a first year student at the University of Exeter, Aziz made me feel very welcome from the first day of my arrival. I am very happy with my room and it has enabled me to feel like home. I would reccommend this accommodation as the people are welcoming and so is Aziz himself.

My experience staying here has only been positive. The town centre location is super convenient for shops and the river, and the university is well within walking distance. Staff have been quick to address any problems that we've needed help with. Thanks very much!

Really lovely rooms and brand new kitchens with a massive TV! Great location, right in town and close to the quay. PureGym is a minute walk! Not too far from Exeter uni campus too! Bills included!
