About The Leat Apartments
The Leat Apartments is a rare student development in Exeter offering just 27 individually designed one-bedroom apartments. It offers a genuine alternative to student halls and shared housing — in a quiet, low-density courtyard setting, with all bills included, dedicated gigabit broadband, gym membership and fortnightly cleaning.
Features
The Leat apartments are larger than typical student rooms, ranging from 21m² to over 50m² for the penthouses, with several offering private outside space — terraces or gardens. But the real difference is what’s inside your front door.
Each apartment has a generous living area with a fully equipped contemporary kitchen — full-size oven, hob, extractor and integrated fridge — plus a comfortable sofa, 40” Smart TV, built-in desk with study chair, bookshelves and pinboard. It’s a proper home, not a room.
The separate bedrooms all have a double bed and a well-sized built-in wardrobe. Shower rooms are generously proportioned with a large walk-in shower and instant hot water throughout.
Outside, the development has a courtyard garden designed for residents’ wellbeing — a quiet, private space shared by just 27 apartments. Central heating, on-site laundry, secure bike storage and CCTV complete the picture.
