Cancellation Policy
Initial Cancellation Period: You can cancel your tenancy agreement for up to 7 calendar days after the date of the booking, known as the Initial Cancellation Period, or ‘Cooling Off Period’.
Refund of Security Deposit: Providing your booking is cancelled within the Initial Cancellation Period, we will refund your full security deposit. Please note that the refund process may take a number of weeks depending on the timeline of the tenancy deposit scheme.
Cancellation for 1st-Year Students:- 1st-year undergraduate or postgraduate students can cancel their agreement if their offer is withdrawn due to not achieving the required grades. Written evidence must be provided within 3 calendar days of results being published.
- To apply for cancellation, students must send an email confirming cancellation along with documentation regarding their university status within 3 days.
Cancellation for 2nd Year and Subsequent Students: 2nd-year and subsequent-year students can also cancel within the Initial Cancellation Period. They must provide the necessary documentation within 3 calendar days to process a refund.
Notice Required After Tenancy Commencement: Students can serve two months’ notice to quit if they wish to cancel the tenancy after moving in. The notice must align with the rent period.
Complaints Procedure: If you are unsatisfied with policy compliance, you may follow the complaints policy, which includes information on how to submit a complaint.
