Frequently Asked Questions:
Who can stay with Unite?
To book a room with Unite Students, you'll need to be a full-time student, have a 25-year-old UK guarantor, and have your card ready for any payments, which may include upfront charges. Lastly, you'll have to choose your room type.
What is a guarantor's agreement?
Similarly to your agreement, the guarantor also gets their own, including a section where the guarantor must confirm their details for security reasons. With this agreement, the guarantor is liable for any missed payments that you may have.
What should I do after I move in?
Once you toured the property and got to know your flatmates, make sure to register with a GP, open up a UK bank account, get a TV license (only if you wish to watch TV), and fill in a Council Tax Exemption form as Full-time students aren't required to pay Council Taxes.
Am I able to have my pet over?
Unfortunately, pets aren't allowed unless you require a dog for assistance, such as a guide or working dog. In that case, contact the staff.
How much does laundry cost?
Laundry costs differ from one building to another. You'll get all cost-related information once you check-in.
