No more words, let’s see some pictures of brutal reality. If you are smart enough, or at least not blind, you’ll definitely never choose this place.

-Very unprofessional and rude security staffs. Some of them often tease Asian faces. They treating Asian and western faces differently, try hard to find fault with tenant and accuse them. When you try to argue or complain they just show indifference and even told you that ‘I don’t care’... actually, you don’t have any channel to complain them indeed. -Irresponsible management. The public washing machines are very dirty because some people use these to wash mops and duster cloth, however the staffs did nothing for it and told the tenant to contact the laundry company... -the room layout is different to many actual rooms, there is a high possibility that you can’t get your favorite layout. -For new tenants next year, especially Chinese/Asian, I won’t suggest booking this accommodation. I never have such unfriendly accommodation staffs in my past years. With this price you can bigger room and warmer service elsewhere!

It was generally a good experience staying here. Excellent location, located at high street. Grocery shop is a stone's throw away and also very close to Tower Bridge where you can find nice fine international restaurants and shops. This student accommodation has a very nice and clean little gym and a spacious common room where you can host a party and invite your friends (please do it responsibly). I had a slight issue with the noise coming from the construction that they were doing, but it wasn't as loud and they compensated it by refunding some of my rent fee, so at least they recognised that. I stayed in premium studio. Everything was perfect. They have AC during summer (which is really really helpful to go through a very warm day) and a heather during winter. Overall, I was very happy with what I have paid. However, I had issues with the AC every now and then. For most of the days it worked, but there were few days (only couple days) it wasn't working. Also, the day and evening receptionists, event though they are generally nice people, some of then can be rude, helpless and ignorant.

I stayed at Liberty Plaza for several weeks last year. Overall, I had a great time in London. But that is because London is a great city and looking back I now wonder why I’ve paid so much money to stay in an accommodation I felt so little at home. The worst experience of my time at LP I had right after I arrived. The reception was empty, absolutely no one was around. Luckily the driver who picked me up from the airport went to fetch someone. Some guy eventually led me to my room - to be exact he led me to the floor my room was at and pointed at the door. And that was it. During this whole time he didn’t speak a word and I was left knowing: nothing at all. You don’t exactly feel great when you’ve just arrived to a foreign and huge city all on your own and are treated like that. Eventually my roommates explained everything I needed to know to me. During my stay the rest of the staff turned out to be just as arrogant and unhelpful as the guy I met on my first day. (By the way, a few weeks later he introduced another new roommate but this time was making small talk with him in the kitchen. I have no clue what I’ve done wrong in my first two minutes at LP to have been treated like I was. Maybe it was a racist thing, I don’t know.) The second big problem with LP is that the facilities are in such bad condition. I didn’t cook once because I was kind of disgusted by the kitchen. Everything from the water boiler to the lifts seemed to be half broken. (I was actually really relieved every time I left the lift alive.) The heating in my room didn’t work for a week and it took another full week for someone to fix it. Also my room wasn’t cleaned when I arrived, I had to sleep in used linen for a couple of nights. Now let me get to the one positive thing about LP: It is located a few seconds away from Sainsbury’s, another minute or two from Aldgate East Station. Oh and the bed was super comfortably. I slept really well there. But apart from that... Maybe if I’d paid only half of the money I did I’d have given LP four stars. But the way I’ve experienced it it’s not worth a stay.
