The Sutton Bonington campus is located 10 miles south of University Park on the border of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. Its countryside location is ideal for the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science and the School of Biosciences. The campus has world-leading specialist facilities and laboratories for studying biosciences and veterinary medicine.

Sutton Bonington is home to over 2,500 students from the Schools of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine, which creates a place where it’s easy to get to know your fellow students and teaching staff and become a part of a wider global community.

There are over 40 societies based at the Sutton Bonington Campus for you to get involved in, from dance, music soc, and SB players to lacrosse, climbing, and biking. You can either  join existing sports clubs and societies or start your own. It is a friendly and relaxed place where you’ll feel at home, with access to help and support whenever you need it.

Departments and Divisions 

The courses offered at Sutton Bonington Campus are for the School of Biosciences and the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. The School of Biosciences includes undergraduate courses, postgraduate taught courses, and postgraduate research. The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science includes undergraduate degrees, postgraduate research degrees, postgraduate taught degrees, apprenticeships, and CPD. 

Facilities and Resources 

Sutton Bonington Campus has a number of facilities including the University Farm, Centre for Dairy Science Innovation, animal small holdings, paperless Super Lab, specialist glasshouses, a food processing facility as well as a cafe, a restaurant, a bar, sports centre, a library, chaplaincy, Student Services Hub for support and welfare, and The Guild which is the dedicated campus Students' Union, run by students for students that provides a number of student-led activities and events throughout the year.
