Departments and Divisions
Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London comprises three departments: The Department of Dance, The Department of Music, and The Department of Musical Theatre. The Department of Dance offers undergraduate programmes, postgraduate programmes, pre-masters programmes, a study abroad programme, dance science, and a centre for advanced training. As for The Department of Music, it consists of nine sections which include Composition, Jazz, Keyboard, Strings, Vocal Studies, Wind, Brass, and Percussion…etc. The Musical Theatre Department offers two programmes: Foundation Programme in Musical Theatre and BA (Hons) Musical Theatre Performance.

Every faculty has its own facilities. The Faculty of Dance has many facilities which include 13 purpose-built dance studios including a 100-seat Studio Theatre performance space, Laban Library and Archive, Laban Theatre, Bonnie Bird Theatre, a Cafe and Bar, Sound and video editing suite, and Additional studios and newly renovated Performance Laboratory at Laurie Grove.
Students at The Faculty of Music have access to its different facilities which include a 100-seat Peacock Room, a 100-seat Theatre Studio with sprung dance floor, elegant Stuart and Mackerras Rooms for chamber music, 80+ practice rooms, dedicated suites for Brass, Composition, Early Music, Harp, Jazz and Percussion. Other facilities include the Jerwood Library of the Performing Arts, a Recording studio, a Keyboard Laboratory, and Blackheath Halls. Student facilities include a swipe card system, lockers, and a CCTV system for safety.
The Laurie Grove building that’s located in the heart of London has a variety of facilities. These include seven studios, two dedicated vocal studios, two performance labs, dressing rooms and green rooms, and a computer suite.
