Two constituent Faculties and three constituent Colleges make up MTU Cork. Engineering and Science, as well as Business and Humanities, make up the component Faculties. The MTU Crawford College of Art and Design, the MTU Cork School of Music, and the National Maritime College of Ireland are the three constituent colleges.

The Munster Technological University offers different study programmes for students; they include undergraduate, postgraduate, evening and weekend courses, professional development, and hospitality courses.
