Tamarindo is an average town in terms of affordability and cost of living. It is neither too cheap nor too expensive, it lies somewhere in the middle. Getting to Tamarindo and navigating the town are made possible and easy due to the nicely-paved roads of the town as well as the bridges that cross rivers and bodies of water. You can get to Tamarindo by flying into the Guanacaste Airport, which is only an hour-ride away from Tamarindo.
