Hampshire County is home to Southampton, a major port city on the south coast of England. The city is well known for its maritime heritage and is famously recognised as the departure point of the RMS Titanic in 1912. Today, Southampton combines its historic significance with a busy, modern city lifestyle, featuring a large waterfront, commercial areas, and a strong student community.
In everyday life, Southampton feels like a practical and well-connected city. The city centre has large shopping areas such as Westquay Shopping Centre, along with smaller independent shops, cafés, and restaurants spread across different neighbourhoods. The waterfront is one of the most recognisable parts of Southampton, with marinas, walking paths, and ferry links connecting the city to nearby destinations like the Isle of Wight. Green spaces such as Southampton Common also offer a break from city life, where people go for walks, exercise, or outdoor events during warmer months.

Cancellation Policy
Where can I find the full termination policy?
It is available in the booking section and on the documents page. You must read and understand it before confirming your booking.
Can I cancel within the initial period?
Yes. You may cancel within 7 days of accepting the offer or paying the deposit (whichever occurs first), provided you have not moved into the property. If eligible, your security deposit will be refunded in full.
How long does it take to receive the deposit refund?
Refunds are normally processed within 28 working days of cancellation. If the deposit has already been secured with a third-party protection scheme, the refund may take up to 60 days due to the scheme’s processing time. In this case, the refund will be issued directly by the scheme and may require a repayment reference provided by them. The landlord cannot influence or speed up this process. Deposits are legally required to be protected in a third-party scheme.
What happens if I cancel after the 7-day initial period?
You remain liable for rent on a weekly basis, including any part-week, until the room is re-let.
When will I be released from the agreement after late cancellation?
You will only be released once the room has been successfully re-let and any required release payment or fees have been paid.
The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.
