Payment Terms

Where can I find the full termination policy? It is available in the booking section and on the documents page. You must read and understand it before confirming your booking. Can I cancel within the initial period? Yes. You may cancel within 7 days of accepting the offer or paying the deposit (whichever occurs first), provided you have not moved into the property. If eligible, your security deposit will be refunded in full. How long does it take to receive the deposit refund? Refunds are normally processed within 28 working days of cancellation. If the deposit has already been secured with a third-party protection scheme, the refund may take up to 60 days due to the scheme’s processing time. In this case, the refund will be issued directly by the scheme and may require a repayment reference provided by them. The landlord cannot influence or speed up this process. Deposits are legally required to be protected in a third-party scheme. What happens if I cancel after the 7-day initial period? You remain liable for rent on a weekly basis, including any part-week, until the room is re-let. When will I be released from the agreement after late cancellation? You will only be released once the room has been successfully re-let and any required release payment or fees have been paid. Stayed here for my 1st year staying another year and I am very comfortable with the way the rooms are set. 24hr shops around the block and nisa right infront of the accommodation. Great for meeting students from different accommodation also.

They always have activities to do for in the common room and food to give out. The staff are always there to help and are cool to talk too.

I came for a viewing with my sister as she’s planning to move in for the next academic year, and Ella made the whole experience really positive from start to finish. She was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about the property and the tenancy process.
She answered all of our questions confidently and explained everything properly without making it feel rushed. Ella was organised and approachable throughout the viewing.
Overall, Ella made the process feel straightforward and reassuring, and we left with a very good impression!

The site staff are very friendly, helpful and amenable, with good amenities and services available in my room and the block. I’ve been staying here several years now and have always been very happy with my stay.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The atmosphere was welcoming, the space was clean and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Everything felt well organised and comfortable. Definitely a place I’d recommend if your looking for a good experience and a nice environment.

Canalside is an amazing place to stay. My experience has been so good. I have enjoyed the events the staff put on every week. This is definitely a home away from home.
