About Quest Christchurch

Christchurch is one of New Zealand's largest cities and the largest city on the country's South Island. The Canterbury Association was named Christchurch in 1848, and it was officially established on July 31, 1856, making it New Zealand's oldest city. Otautahi is the city's official Maori name.

The Quest Christchurch student housing in Christchurch is located in the heart of the city's most affluent neighbourhoods.

If you want to reserve a room in Christchurch, you should be aware of some interesting facts about the city:

It is believed that tribes hunting the now-extinct moa, a big flightless bird unique to New Zealand, originally landed in the Christchurch area in 1250. The Waitaha tribe arrived in the area from the North Island in the 16th century, beginning a period of strife. The Waitaha were eventually driven out of the area by the Ngati Mamoe tribe. The Ngati Mamoe were eventually taken over by the Ngai Tahu, who ruled the region until the arrival of Europeans.

This Christchurch student house is in the city's heart, just a short walk from Cathedral Square and the New Regent Street Entertainment Precinct. In your spare time, you can enjoy breathtaking views at Punting On The Avon or appreciate nature at Christchurch Botanic Gardens. You can also learn more about the city by visiting important landmarks such as the Queen Victoria Statue, the Canterbury Museum, and the Victoria Clock Tower.
