Departments and Divisions

The University of Otago has several medical departments. These departments are  Māori/Indigenous Health Innovation (MIHI), Anaesthesia, General Practice, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Medicine, Paediatrics, Pathology and Biomedical Science, Physiotherapy, Population Health, Postgraduate Nursing Studies, Psychological Medicine, Radiology, and Surgery. It offers bachelors in medicine and in surgery (MB and ChB). As for the postgraduate opportunities, the university offers plenty of them.
