About Trinity Hall

Chester is a lively UK city that’s rich in history and architecture. Compared to other UK cities, Chester is the most influenced by Roman culture; it’s evident in the city’s architecture, its walls, the Roman Amphitheater, and the medieval-style buildings.

Trinity Hall is a student housing in Chester providing residential options for students near the University of Chester. En-Suite rooms are the main offering at Trinity Hall, they include a lockable bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a ¾ bed, a desk, a chair, and plenty of storage space. Wet En-Suite rooms are available with the same commodities as regular En-Suite rooms, with the addition of a mini-fridge and a safe. All rooms are lockable, and have access to a shared kitchen and lounge area with a flat-screen television.

Resident amenities are an integral part of any student housing; Trinity Hall offers a wide range of amenities for its residents, including excellent quality Wi-Fi, central heating, an on-site laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, as well as a vacuum cleaner. The kitchens are equipped with a microwave, a cooker, and a freezer. The property also offers parking. Recycling features are available for specific residents.

Trinity Hall lies within walking distance of a lot of Chester’s favored attractions and landmarks. For history and architecture fans, King Charles Tower and Chester City Walls are both a 6-minute walk away from the property. The Chester City Walls are the oldest standing ones in the UK and are over 2000 years old. They serve as a reflection of the rich history of the city. The restaurants surrounding the property vary in backgrounds and cuisines. Turkish restaurant, Ephesus Grill and French restaurant, Chez Jules are both 6 minutes away on foot, while Italian restaurant, Pacinos is 5 minutes away. Getting your groceries done is an easy task, Waitrose and Partners grocery store is a 12-minute walk away, and Sainsbury’s Local grocery store is a 9-minute walk. To get the fuel you need to finish your studies and get work done, there’s a Starbucks only 8 minutes away from the property on foot.

Cancellation Policy

Cooling off period(s)

If you choose to cancel your booking with Cloud Student Homes, you have 7 calendar days after signing your AST to do so.

If you made your booking fewer than 7 calendar days before your AST start date you may cancel your booking up until the day prior to your tenancy start date, without incurring a penalty.

You may request to cancel your booking by sending an email to [email protected] or contacting your property management team.

Cloud Student Homes will refund your deposit within 10 working days of accepting your cancellation. International bank transfers can take longer to process funds and incur a transfer fee.

Cancellations after the cooling-off period(s)

Any requests outside the above period will require you to find a student to replace you, who in turn will need to complete the AST and paid their deposit via StuRents. Once they have passed the 7 day cooling off period you will be released from the tenancy.

Cancellations after you have moved into the accommodation

You must speak to your local Property Manager if you are thinking about leaving your accommodation. If you do decide to leave your accommodation during your contracted term, the landlord may agree to release you from your contract, providing the conditions set out below are met:

• You find a suitable replacement (who must be enrolled as a full-time student at a local university or college) to take a new tenancy agreement for your room for the remaining period of your contract.

• The incoming tenant must sign an AST with Cloud Student Homes, providing the relevant requested documents, and where relevant also providing a suitable UK Guarantor.

• Refunds due will not be processed until the incoming tenant taking over the contract has signed the AST, paid and moved into the accommodation

Please note that you will be charged for the length of stay you occupied the room, and for any different in rental amount between yourself and the replacing student (if applicable).

If you fail to find someone to take over your tenancy, you and your guarantor (if applicable) will be responsible for paying the full rent until the end of your contracted time at the accommodation.

Cancellations by Cloud Student Homes or the Landlord

Our terms and conditions require you to sign your AST within the period specified on your electronic AST. If you and your Guarantor (if applicable) fail to sign your AST within this timescale, your AST will be automatically cancelled.

If for any reason Cloud Student Homes is not able to offer you accommodation once your AST is fully signed, we will contact you as soon as possible detailing the reasons why, or offering an alternative solution. If we cannot offer an alternative, or the alternative is not suitable, we will refund all monies paid to Cloud Student Homes.

First-year students who do not get a place at university: “No Place, No Stay”

This offer is applicable to undergraduate first-year students only.

If you are a prospective first-year undergraduate student, and your offer of a place at your preferred

university/higher education institution is withdrawn as a result of not achieving the required entry grades, you will be eligible to receive a refund of your deposit

You may also be eligible to cancel under “No Place, No Stay” if you choose to go to a different university in a city that does not have availability in a Cloud Student Homes property because you have exceeded your expected grades.

To cancel under “No Place, No Stay”, you must supply either;

(a) a copy of a written rejection letter from your chosen university/college or UCAS, which confirms that the results you required for acceptance were not achieved; or (b) a copy of the proof of acceptance to a new university by UCAS adjustment.

This must be received by Cloud Student Homes ([email protected] or directly to your property management team) within 5 calendar days of the date on which your results are published. On receipt of the required documentation, the agreement will be cancelled with a refund of your deposit.

Visas

If your Visa has been refused then you will need to contact your accommodation team within 5 days of the refusal with the evidence of the refusal in order for your cancellation to be processed and deposit refunded.

Please note that if a Cloud Student Homes property is within the city for your alternate University then the above does not apply – you will (subject to availability) be offered a room within the alternate property and be required to sign an alternate AST with the new accommodation. If there is no availability, then your AST from your original property will be cancelled. Please contact [email protected] to transfer your tenancy or to query availability within your alternate city location.

Absolutely awful year living here, would not recommend to anyone. On the day of my arrival (move-in date was given to to Trinity Hall via email weeks in advance) was met and shown to my room, that hadnt been touched since the previous tennants had moved out, the building manager then agreed with me it was unsanitary to move into these conditions and I had to get a hotel for myself and my partner (who had come to help me move in) for the night. A cleaner was arranged to come the following day to deep clean and The room was going to be ready by 1pm, it wasn't. The cleaner had cleaned the toilet and the sink. I was given a £50 amazon voucher for the inconvenience and the three hours it took me and my Partner to deep clean before moving my belongings in. (To remove all the dirt, human finger nail clippings, rubbish, etc) the floor needed mopping four times before your feet stopped sticking to it. The shower was one of the multiple things broken on move in and wasn't fixed for 2 months, i had nothing but cold water to wash with during that time. The communal kitchen area was also disgusting, I don’t know if I got unlucky with whom I shared with but the state of the kitchen/living room area was disgusting. You had to wear shoes to go in there or you leave needing to wash your feet. Along with there being no cupboard space available other than one small half cupboard above the microwave (that couldn’t be reached properly without a chair). You can hear absolutely everything through the walls to next door rooms (and the kitchen in my case) and the stairs up to my floor were so creaky you could hear anyone coming up and down from my room. Attempting to contact management was an absolute nightmare. I paid my rent for the year upfront and was highly dissapointed with the standards and the treatment as a Tennant at Trinity hall. Trinity and Cloud student homes also sent out an email back in april/may asking tennants to leave a positive review on google & we’d get 10£ in return...

The room I got is great, its a great size for the price and the location is perfect as you are right next to the bus station and city centre. There is a massive kitchen that has lots of storage for your needs.

Great en-suite rooms for a great price. Trinity Hall is in the perfect location, it is a 1 minute walk from town, a 2 minute walk from Northgate arena, a 15 minute walk from the train station and a 15 minute walk from Parkgate campus. Site manager, Dave, is lovely and very helpful. The premises is clean and very secure. Would defiantly recommend.
