How does stay length affect payment requirements? 

Stays under six months require full payment upfront. Stays of six months can be split into one or two payments, while twelve-month stays allow for up to four payment dates.

Is a security deposit required? 

Yes, a £200.00 security deposit is mandatory at check-in. This must be paid via credit or debit card, as cash payments are not permitted.

When is the security deposit returned? 

The deposit is held as a pre-authorisation or debit and is released upon departure, provided all house rules and terms are followed.

Are there any additional check-in requirements? 

In addition to the deposit, guests must sign a copy of the house rules upon arrival to finalise the check-in process.

Aparthotel Birmingham Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellation – Up to 4-night stays

For reservations of up to four nights, cancellations or modifications must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time. If a cancellation or change is made within 24 hours of arrival, or in the event of a no-show, the first night's room rate and applicable taxes will be charged. The hotel keeps the right to cancel any reservation where the provided credit card has been declined. By proceeding with a booking, guests acknowledge that they have read and agreed to the hotel's full Terms & Conditions.

Advance Purchase – Non-refundable

Bookings made under the Advance Purchase option are non-refundable. If a guest wishes to cancel or modify such a booking for any reason, including no-shows and early departures, the full cost of the reservation will apply. The total price, including room rate and taxes, will be charged at the time of booking. The hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations with declined credit cards. Confirmation of a booking signifies agreement with the hotel's complete Terms & Conditions.

3 Day Cancellation - 5 nights – 27 nights

For stays lasting between 5 and 27 nights, any cancellations or changes must be communicated at least 7 days prior to the designated check-in date and time. Should a cancellation or modification occur within 7 days of arrival, or if the guest fails to arrive (no-show), a charge equivalent to the first night's room rate plus taxes will be applied. The hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations where the credit card provided is invalid. Long Stay Cancellation – 28 Nights +

For reservations of 28 nights or longer, guests can cancel without applying any charges up to 28 days before their scheduled arrival. If a cancellation is made within 28 days of the check-in date, a charge equivalent to the first 28 nights of the stay will be applied. Early Departure Fees

For stays between 10 and 27 nights, once a guest has checked in to Aparthotel Birmingham, a minimum of 3 days' notice is required for early departure. If a guest checks out with less than 3 days' notice, they will still be charged for the entirety of the 3-day notice period. For stays ranging from 28 to 90 nights, a minimum of 7 days' notice is necessary for early departure after check-in. For stays of 90 days or longer, a minimum of 28 days' notice is required for early departure once the guest has checked in. If a guest departs with less than 28 days' notice, they will be charged for the entire 28-day notice period.
