Payment Terms

Where can I find the full termination policy? It is available in the booking section and on the documents page. You must read and understand it before confirming your booking. Can I cancel within the initial period? Yes. You may cancel within 7 days of accepting the offer or paying the deposit (whichever occurs first), provided you have not moved into the property. If eligible, your security deposit will be refunded in full. How long does it take to receive the deposit refund? Refunds are normally processed within 28 working days of cancellation. If the deposit has already been secured with a third-party protection scheme, the refund may take up to 60 days due to the scheme’s processing time. In this case, the refund will be issued directly by the scheme and may require a repayment reference provided by them. The landlord cannot influence or speed up this process. Deposits are legally required to be protected in a third-party scheme. What happens if I cancel after the 7-day initial period? You remain liable for rent on a weekly basis, including any part-week, until the room is re-let. When will I be released from the agreement after late cancellation? You will only be released once the room has been successfully re-let and any required release payment or fees have been paid. Very comfortable accommodation to live in for a university student. The studio rooms provide you with all essentials needed when adapting to living on your own. The accommodation is kept clean and looked after by the property’s staff. The staff, Erika, always ensures that the accommodation makes us feel like home through the decorations that she does her self, and events that she organises to bring everyone together. If there is an issue it is dealt with asap and property manager always friendly and eager to help.
Would highly recommend staying here during university.

Alexandra House is a perfect distance from campus and town! The management team is lovely and they keep on track of maintenance issues. Iv had no issues with the wifi since iv been at Alexandra House and don't have much to complain about regarding internet connection. My room is spacious and offers everything a university student could need.

The team are happy to sort out any issues you may have with your room or finance and are friendly to talk to. Each room are a range of sizes but they all have enough space for keeping your stuff there.
Other people there are nice, sometimes a bit loud at night although everyone is friendly and are happy to quieten down when you speak to them.

A homely and convenient place to stay for uni. The team (Emily and Joe) are really helpful and friendly. Some other residents have issues with the accomodation, I have been quite lucky not to! They both do all they can with the resources they have to make our experience here great - a lot of problems are out of their hands to deal with. Highly recommend it. Would be better if washing machines weren't coin operated! But for me it's a minor problem.

My partner and I have been staying here for 2 years and have been happy with the experience and service that has been provided. Each month events are planned for tenants allowing you to meet everyone in the house. The rooms are a lovely size and the location is perfect! The accommodation is safe and well looked after. Our overall experience has been really good and a smooth way to transition from moving away from home.
