There has been a £3 million refurbishment completed at the Chantler Clinical Skills Centre at Shepherd’s House which has modernized the Centre, creating a new and innovative learning and teaching environment and a high fidelity clinical simulation suite.
Teaching rooms have also been refurbished to meet current Disability and Health & Safety regulation standards. In the Hodgkin Building, there is now a wheelchair refuge and ramp, the upgraded toilets include a disabled WC and handrails have been fixed to walls, helping to make the College more compliant.
The Greenwood Lecture Theatre has been upgraded and now has a more contemporary colour scheme, modern lighting, re-upholstered seating, and new carpets in all communal areas.
The Learning & Teaching Space Improvement Programme Board has part-funded the new learning hub café, Keats café, at New Hunt’s House. It sells coffee served by trained Barristers and light snacks.
