Location

What is the platform’s role? It only connects students with property providers. It does not manage properties, verify listings, or take part in rental agreements. Users must deal directly with providers and are fully responsible for checking all terms and identities. How does applying work? Users submit basic details. No payment is required at the application stage. A consultant may follow up. What payments are accepted? Cards, bank transfers, and some digital wallets. Cash and offline payments are not accepted. Users must ensure cards are enabled for international use. What does rent include? Often includes utilities, Wi-Fi, security, maintenance, and shared facilities but varies by property. What extra fees exist? May include reservation fees, deposits (usually refundable), utility charges, and sometimes application fees. Are instalments available? Depends on the property and may require a guarantor. Is a deposit required? Some properties require it. It is usually refundable if there is no damage or unpaid rent. When is the deposit refunded? Typically, within 4-8 weeks after tenancy ends. What is the payment deadline? Bookings are held for 72 hours. Payment must be completed within this time. How do I know if the payment worked? You’ll see confirmation; otherwise, check your payment method or retry. Why hasn’t my booking updated? Updates may be delayed; contact support if it persists. Can I pay one time? Yes, if supported. Are CITCON payments allowed? Yes, for rentals in limited regions. Property purchases are not processed.

Payment Terms

What is the cooling-off period? A period of up to 14 days from deposit payment, during which you can cancel and receive a deposit refund. Can I use it freely? No. It is not intended for casual or undecided bookings. What happens after it ends? The deposit is non-refundable. You may need to pay full rent or find a replacement tenant. Non-payment may lead to legal/contractual action or credit impact. Can I cancel due to visa or school rejection? Yes, but only with valid supporting proof. Who is responsible for understanding the contract? The student is fully responsible before booking. When do I accept the terms? Once the booking is completed. Can terms be changed by the website? No. Terms are set by the accommodation provider and local law. What governs the contract? The rental contract, provider notices, and local law. What is the legal effect? The contract is legally binding, whether paper or electronic. What happens if I cancel after the cooling-off period? No refund. You may need to pay full rent or find a replacement tenant. How does replacement tenancy work? The new tenant pays the current market price, which may be higher. Will I get help finding someone? Support may be provided, but it is not guaranteed.
