Plymouth Cross House by Homes For Students is a student housing in Plymouth that offers Studios and Ensuites. The studios come in ten styles: Classic Studio, Classic Studio Plus, Standard Studio, Standard Studio Plus, Premium Studio, Premium Studio Plus, Executive Studio, Executive Studio Plus, Deluxe Studio, and Super Deluxe Studio. They feature a ¾ size bed, ample storage, a large study desk and chair, and an ensuite bathroom. As for ensuites, they come in two styles; Classic Ensuite and Classic 4 & 5 Bed Ensuite. They feature a ¾ size bed, generous storage, a practical study desk and chair, and an ensuite bathroom.
The residence offers different facilities and services. The facilities include Wi-Fi, CCTV, a cinema room, and a games room. Other services include a common room, an outdoor area, on-site maintenance, and a laundry room.
The property is located at Raleigh Street, just a nine-minute walk from Plymouth city centre. It is in the heart of life and is surrounded by exciting locations that include entertainment and eatery venues. Steak & Omelet restaurant is the place to go if you wish to have a classic English-style meal. It specializes in Angus steaks and seafood in an elegant space. If you’re craving some Thai food, A Taste Of Thailand eatery is just a four-minute walk from the building and it offers traditional Thai plates in a simple setting. If you want to have a quick bite, Crispy's is another nearby diner serving delicious hamburgers in a chic setting. When you need to do some grocery shopping, Tesco Express supermarket is only six minutes away and it has a plethora of products that cater to your needs. There are several activities you can do to shake off your exhausting busy day on campus; you can go for a refreshing stroll at the nearby Victoria Park that has spacious green fields and mesmerizing scenery, or you may go working out at the fully-equipped nearby gym The Gym Group Plymouth. On the weekends, you may go on a shopping spree at Armada Shopping Centre which has plenty of shops, boutiques, and stores.

The University of Plymouth is an 11-minute walk from the building, Plymouth College of Art is also an 11-minute walk, Plymouth University International College is a 13-minute walk, and Plymouth Marjon University is a 17-minute drive. Western Approach (Stop 1) bus station is four minutes away from the building and Connexions bus station is two minutes away. Plymouth train station is a 15-minute walk and Devonport train station is a seven-minute ride.

An en-suite room features a small double bed, wardrobe, mirror, ample storage, workspace, private bathroom, shared lounge area, and shared kitchen.
**Paying in instalments for international students requires a UK guarantor.
**Up to 10 installments available.
Can I cancel my booking?
If you accept an offer of accommodation online or by signing a Tenancy Agreement, and then decide you wish to cancel outside of the Initial Cancellation Period, the following applies:
- You remain liable for the weekly rent (for each and every week or part week) until you are able to find another tenant that is acceptable to Homes for Students (it is your responsibility to find another tenant) and we are able to re-let the room
- If we are able to re-let the room we will release you from the agreement upon payment of a £250 release fee which we will recover by retaining your deposit (which will not, therefore, be returned). If you have paid a different amount as a deposit (such as £150) then this is the amount that will be retained.
1st Year Applicants Only
If you are a prospective student and your offer of a place at your preferred University/Higher Education Institution is withdrawn by the University/Higher Education Institution, you may be eligible to be released from this agreement.
To apply to be released from the agreement you will need to provide:
- Written confirmation that you wish to cancel your reservation.
- Supporting evidence from the University or UCAS.
You can terminate your tenancy agreement if you have an existing medical condition and this is recorded on your application prior to a room offer being made. We will require medical proof with your application and you will be liable for a minimum of 4 weeks’ rent or to the end of the current rent period, whichever is longer.
