About The Nest

The Nest is a student housing in Leicester that offers En-suite and Large En-suite rooms. These rooms come with comfy large beds with plenty of clever storage within them, wardrobes, shelving, and desks with drawers. They also come with private bathrooms that have WCs, showers, sinks and accessories. Residents also get access to the shared kitchen and dining area.

The property also offers Courtyard Studios, Studios (Top Floor), Large Studios (Top Floor), and Extra Large Studios (Top Floor). Studio rooms offer everything you would find in an en-suite room; they are also all self-contained, meaning they come with their private kitchens equipped with sinks, storage, wall cupboards, fridges with freezer compartments and breakfast bars.

The Nest has all-inclusive bills, free contents insurance, and free superfast Wi-Fi. It’s CCTV- monitored and has a secure key fob; it also has an on-site team offering help 24/7. The facilities include on-site laundry rooms, as well as amazing social spaces like a cinema room, quiet study spaces, an aerobics studio, and a landscaped courtyard.

Leicester used to have more than one train station. The Central railway station opened on Frog Island in 1899, and was part of a line linking London Marylebone to Nottingham. However after decades of use, the station was run into decline by operators, and eventually closed in 1969.

Situated in the ultimate location, The Nest is just less than a 5-minute walk to the city centre. Surrounding you, you’ll find many places of culture. Museums and art galleries such as The Newarke Houses Museum, Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, and Leicester Contemporary, where you can go broaden your mind, enrich your culture, and learn more, are all within walking distance. You can also go to 2Funky Music Cafe and attend live concerts. Restaurants also come in packages and serve different types of dishes. Get your favourite steaks at Middletons Steakhouse & Grill, or taste the most delicious French cuisine at Bistrot Pierre. For everything in between, go Wygston's House Bar & Restaurant.

Located in the heart of the city centre, it's the perfect modern studio for any student. The staff is very supportive and helpful! My room looks brand new, very private and the common areas are lovely too! The location is just fantastic! You definitely get your money's worth.

I'm currently enjoying staying at the nest, I've been here two weeks. the location is great! you're a 5 min walk into the centre. you have other student accommodation a short walk away! local shops and restaurants 2 minutes away! parking is a little hard at times but mostly alright. it is expensive however its reasonable as the quality is high however, this does not include a gym or free washing facilities or a cinema room. This price only includes your room and common room. As they are all studios you are able to enjoy your own space. there is a group page in planning so that the residents can get to meet each other and meet up for movie nights, pizza nights and games in the common room. there is also some talk about if they might use their extra space for a gym or games room/cinema room which will definitely be exiting and definitely worth it however, this is not yet confirmed or promised. message me if you have any questions!

Was promised a brand new gym before moving in, and they didn’t even start building it (it’s been 6 months) The lift started working 5 months into me living there (I’m on the top floor) and stops working every 2 days, makes me feel like I’m gonna have a heart attack everyday going up the stairs. On my moving out day the lift stopped working and the maintenance didn’t care and just dismissed it as if I can carry 20 bags up and down the stairs lol. Company only cares about the money, bad customer service and never reply to any emails or complaints. Everything in the room was rushed and bad quality. £600 a month for a tiny room, no lift, no gym and common room being always messy. Thank you xxxxxx (One star for being close to town)

Waited a long time for the "New lift" to be fixed, but it's working now, thank goodness
