About Neuadd Kyffin
Bangor is a cathedral city and community in Gwynedd, North Wales. It is the oldest city in Wales, a small but lively city and university town. Incorporated in 1791, Bangor is named for an Irish hymn entitled “Bangor,” said to be a favourite of pastor Seth Noble who travelled to Boston with the initial intention of naming the town Sunbury.
Neuadd Kyffin is a student housing in Bangor that offers en-suite and studio rooms. Both types of rooms come featuring large comfy beds, wardrobes with mirrors, workspaces with study desks and chairs, and private bathrooms with showers and toilets. Studio rooms come with their private fully-equipped kitchens, while en-suites come with a shared kitchen and a dining area that students get to access.
Neuadd Kyffin offers superfast Wi-Fi, free contents insurance, and on-site maintenance. It is CCTV-monitored, it has a secure fob entry system and central heating. The property houses a common room with large screen TVs, an outdoor area, and a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. You will also find a free parcel collection service and parking for a little extra charge.
Neuadd Kyffin could not get any more central. Less than a 10-minute walk out of your student accommodation, you can find everything you’ll need such as large supermarkets like Asda and Aldi. If you love museums, you’ll find a lot of them around you. Some of these museums are The National Slate Museum, The Menai Bridges Museum, and The Old Court House Museum. Art centres such as Storiel are also within your reach. Restaurants around you serve different types of exotic cuisines that will surely keep you asking for more. These include the South Asian Royal Tandoori and the Chinese Jasmine. You can also get your pancakes at Creperie Cafe, and your pizza at WoodFiredShack.
Bangor University is just a 12-minute walk away and a 2-minute car ride away from the property. There are more than 2 bus stops close to the property. Plaza P is just a 4-minute walk away. Ffordd Deiniol is 5 minutes away on foot.

Can I cancel my booking?
If you accept an offer of accommodation online or by signing a Tenancy Agreement, and then decide you wish to cancel outside of the Initial Cancellation Period, the following applies:
- You remain liable for the weekly rent (for each and every week or part week) until you are able to find another tenant that is acceptable to Homes for Students (it is your responsibility to find another tenant) and we are able to re-let the room
- If we are able to re-let the room we will release you from the agreement upon payment of a £250 release fee which we will recover by retaining your deposit (which will not, therefore, be returned). If you have paid a different amount as a deposit (such as £150) then this is the amount that will be retained.
1st Year Applicants Only
If you are a prospective student and your offer of a place at your preferred University/Higher Education Institution is withdrawn by the University/Higher Education Institution, you may be eligible to be released from this agreement.
To apply to be released from the agreement you will need to provide:
- Written confirmation that you wish to cancel your reservation.
- Supporting evidence from the University or UCAS.
You can terminate your tenancy agreement if you have an existing medical condition and this is recorded on your application prior to a room offer being made. We will require medical proof with your application and you will be liable for a minimum of 4 weeks’ rent or to the end of the current rent period, whichever is longer.
