I would give less than one star if it was possible. My. son was placed in an apartment without working appliances. From the day they moved in dishwasher and microwave have been broken. Calls have been made a multitude of times with excuses. At the price rent is this is unacceptable. We are now having to explore legal options as nothing continues to be done for a month! Expectation of paying full rent is ridiculous.

Nice place and nice people, but be very careful when signing a lease. Once ECU moved all students off campus last year, we signed a 11 month lease. 3 months in, they asked my son to sign an extension (not me, the guarantor). He signed, but then found another place he wanted to live in. I went in person, along with my wife and son, to the office about 2 months ago and told them we needed to end the lease at the original time of July 24th. In person, they said that won't be a problem. Trusting them, I didn't wait to have anything printed as we were heading back to Charlotte. Now they are saying they won't let us out of the lease. This is not good business practice, not the right thing and just flat wrong.

I enjoy living at the boundary, they provide a nice space for residents to live in (ie. the apartments). Aside from the management taking our amenity privileges away every other week, it is a nice place to live. I would only choose to recommend living here if the amenities were ALL open and the residents were not being treated as children who are punished due to actions of other people.

Do not fall for their tricks. The only good thing about this is the location since it is close to the classes. Otherwise, everything is cheaply made, the staff is very rude and does not take anything seriously. Even though I did not like living there at all I still did just because of how close it is. The rent is wayyyyy to much for what they offer you. The outside parking on a gravel lot that floods is wayy to expensive. My car got hit in the parking lot and they said they had no cameras to be able to see who did it. A lot of trash everywhere, the only nice and maintained area is the front entrance to trick people. I do not feel that they actually cared about me as a resident because they probably knew I would be leaving soon. My roommate and I got a noise complaint at 3 am when we were both asleep and it was written as a formal note and left on our door. There was no communication before the note. No call to ask if we knew anything about it. I will probably have to end up living there soon again just to be walking distance to class. I am honestly dreading having to deal with this place again. They also claim that you can sign up for a semester lease at a time when in fact you have to find someone to take your lease over. Do not waste your money or time here.
