Steelworks is a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.casita.com/student-accommodation/uk/sheffield" style="text-align: initial;" target="_blank">Sheffield student accommodation</a>&nbsp;providing students with housing near their respective universities. You can choose between a variety of en-suite rooms in shared apartments or a number of private studios. All rooms include a private en-suite bathroom, a small double bed, a workspace, and a lot of storage. A kitchen and a living space are shared by en-suite rooms, while studios enjoy their own private mini-kitchen. Rooms may vary in size depending on their type: Bronze, Platinum, etc.<h3 dir="ltr" style="">Features</h3>The amenities offered by this Sheffield student accommodation include CCTV security, an on-site residents’ team, all-inclusive bills, Wi-Fi, on-site laundry, and cycle storage. The property offers a number of social spaces where you can relax or hang out with friends, including a dining room, a games area, a multimedia room, and a roof terrace. There are also regularly held residents’ events that give you a chance to socialise and meet new people. A study room is also available where you can get work done in a quiet and peaceful environment.Overlooking the River Sheaf, Sheffield is a city and a metropolitan borough in South Yorkshire, England. Steelworks Overview

Location

To finalise the move-in process, the initial rental payment and the security deposit must be received as cleared funds at least one business day before the tenancy starts. Please note that contracts will not be formally executed until these specific payments are confirmed.Initial Rent CalculationThe amount due for the first month depends on the move-in date:<ul><li dir="ltr">Move-in on or before the 15th: Payment covers the remaining days of the current month. This is calculated by dividing the total annual rent by 365 and multiplying it by the days left in the month.</li><li dir="ltr">Move-in on or after the 16th: Payment must include the pro-rated amount for the current month (calculated as above) plus the full rent for the following month.</li></ul>Security DepositThe deposit is equivalent to five weeks’ rent. To comply with regulations, the tenant must transfer these funds directly; payments from third parties are not accepted.&nbsp;Once paid, the funds are held securely by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (Custodial).Payment Due DatesRent is due on the 1st of each month, per the Tenancy Agreement, via standing order.For joint tenancies, residents must designate one individual to handle the payment; multiple-account payments may trigger extra fees.

Payment Terms

All tenancy contracts remain subject to final agreement. About 8 bus stations surround the property. Carver Street/ca1 is a 4-minute walk away. Mappin Street/ Portobello Lane is 6 minutes away on foot.

Steelworks

When looking for places to stay for my final year of university, Steelworks was the perfect fit as soon as I met the lovely staff running the building. They were so welcoming when I first walked in making the process of looking around and moving in so easy and they continue to make my experience here amazing. I wish it was built when I started university as finding it in my final year is a sad one that I cannot stay longer. The newer build next door is run by the same people and I will be trying to find a graduate job in Sheffield so I can live in what is definitely my favourite accommodation I have had in my 4 years in Sheffield.

Would definitely recommend Steelworks for anyone looking for student accommodation. The staffs are so friendly and are always open to helping you whenever you need it. The facilities here are also amazing!!! There’s an indoor gym for anyone  is interested in that. Security here is also 24/7, so it definitely proves how safe it is here. Staying here would not disappoint you

Perfect location, staff are really friendly, always up for a chat, maintenance is prompt if needed, premises are always kept clean and events are always organised to keep the location sociable and the location is perfect for both Universities and local amenities and shops.

Everything is perfect! I chose steelworks at random but it gave me surprise. It is a new student apartment that is very clean. And all the reception workers are helpful and patient. Once I had some problems, their reactions and actions were quick and high efficient.

I honestly cannot recommend this accommodation enough! The staff are absolutely lovely and go above and beyond for all of us, whether its regarding any issues with our rooms/flat, putting on accommodation socials like bingo and quiz nights, collecting parcels, helping us out with settling in and so, so much more. The security he is also very good and very helpful. The flats and our rooms are exactly as advertised, if anything better, and for the price the accommodation is unreal. From looking around other student accommodations and the facilities they have I had no doubt that Steelworks was the best for its price. It is so close to the city centre, all the bars/clubs and both universities (Hallam and Uni of). Love, love, love it here!! :)
