About Daisybank Villas

One of the most populated cities in the UK is Manchester. It is renowned for its wide cultural diversity and comprehensive and rich history. The River Irwell traverses it.

Daisybank Villas is a student housing in Manchester that offers en-suite rooms and apartments. All rooms have a ¾ bed, a study desk with a chair, bookshelves, an en-suite bathroom, and a washing machine.

The property has various facilities and services. These facilities include Wi-Fi, parking, and an outdoor area.

The building is located on Anson Road, only a 15-minute ride from the centre of the city. It is surrounded by many exciting and interesting locations, including eatery spots, entertainment venues, and other places of interest. If you’re craving a delicious taco, Don Tacos eatery is nine minutes away, and it serves Mexican food in a vibrant setting. MyLahore Manchester is another nearby restaurant serving Asian cuisine dishes in a colourful space. If you’d like to have a taste of Middle Eastern food, Slemani Restaurant is 11 minutes away and has a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

When you need to do some grocery shopping, Tesco Express supermarket is just around the corner, and it has a variety of products at good prices to cater to your needs. Before you head to your classes, we suggest you go for a refreshing morning walk at Smiling Owl Park, where you can enjoy the greenery and the scenery. Over the weekend, we recommend you go on a night out with your friends and watch the latest box office movies at Odeon Cinemas Limited. You may also choose to go on a shopping spree at Royal Exchange Arcade, where you’ll find lots of shops, stores, and boutiques. Another thing you can do during the weekend is to visit the National Football Museum, where you can explore the many football-related items on display and more.

Cancellation Policy

Can I cancel my booking?

If you accept an offer of accommodation online or by signing a Tenancy Agreement, and then decide you wish to cancel outside of the Initial Cancellation Period, the following applies:

  • You remain liable for the weekly rent (for each and every week or part week) until you are able to find another tenant that is acceptable to Homes for Students (it is your responsibility to find another tenant) and we are able to re-let the room
  • If we are able to re-let the room we will release you from the agreement upon payment of a £250 release fee which we will recover by retaining your deposit (which will not, therefore, be returned). If you have paid a different amount as a deposit (such as £150) then this is the amount that will be retained.

1st Year Applicants Only

If you are a prospective student and your offer of a place at your preferred University/Higher Education Institution is withdrawn by the University/Higher Education Institution, you may be eligible to be released from this agreement.

To apply to be released from the agreement you will need to provide:

  • Written confirmation that you wish to cancel your reservation.
  • Supporting evidence from the University or UCAS.

Special conditions

You can terminate your tenancy agreement if you have an existing medical condition and this is recorded on your application prior to a room offer being made. We will require medical proof with your application and you will be liable for a minimum of 4 weeks’ rent or to the end of the current rent period, whichever is longer.

Elena at the office is absolutely amazing! Even when other things aren’t going great she always does everything she can to sort it out, and she’s a lovely person to chat to!! It’s nice to have such a friendly face at the office whenever you go in.

I feel that this accommodation required a lot more work doing to it before it was opened. Overall, the flats are okay and the support from the team is really good. But the team at Daisybank Villas has only recently come in and the gate closing the area off to people not associated with the property has also come in, which caused many strange things to happen in the car park late at night. Also, the area of Rusholme isn't that safe and there needs to be stronger locks on the doors and windows. Finally, the building is old and grade 2 listed, which means many things are consistently falling apart and need maintenance, which causes people to consistently be moved between flats, and sometimes, it really isn't worth the money.
