London is the UK's most populous city. It has served as a cultural and educational centre in both Europe and the rest of the world and continues to do so. Its origins can be traced back to the Bronze Age.

The property is located at Eccleston Square, which is a great location because it’s only a ten-minute ride from Central London. It’s in the heart of life, entertainment, food, and drink; with many exciting locations surrounding it. From eateries to entertainment venues to places of interest, the city has it all. If you’d like to have a taste of British cuisine, Stoke House Restaurant Victoria is just an 11-minute walk from the building and it serves a British menu in a vibrant and modern setting. If you’re craving a mouth-watering pizza, Chucs Belgravia restaurant is just around the corner and it serves delicious Italian fare plus drinks in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Tortilla Victoria is another nearby diner offering Mexican food including Tacos and burritos in a simple and bright space. When you need to do some grocery shopping, Sainsbury's supermarket is just a short walk from the premises and it offers plenty of products at good deals to cater to your needs. After your long day on campus, we suggest you go for a refreshing walk at the nearby and cozy Grosvenor Gardens where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Over the weekend, you may enjoy a night out with friends and watch the latest box office movies at The Cinema in the Arches. You may also choose to go on a shopping spree at Victoria Place shopping mall where you’ll find lots of shops, stores, and boutiques. You can also become a tourist for the day and visit the Natural History Museum, one of London’s most famous spots, and explore the local and global histories.

*Upon arrival, a deposit of £200 is required.

*1-week rent is required in advance.

Payment & Cancellation

Payment Terms

Payment Terms

How much do I need to pay to confirm my booking?
To confirm your booking, you must pay a holding deposit equal to one week’s accommodation charge once availability is confirmed.

When do I pay my first rent payment?
On arrival, you must pay your first week’s accommodation charge in order to check in and gain access to your room.

How are payments made?
LHA London does not accept cash payments. Payment can only be made by:

  • Debit card

  • Credit card

Do I need to provide my card details?
Yes. When you make your first payment, you agree that:

  • LHA will store your card details in its secure billing system

  • Future payments will be taken automatically via recurring card payments

How often are rent payments taken?
Payments are taken weekly in advance.

  • Each payment covers one week of accommodation

  • A “week” runs from Saturday 10:00 am to the following Saturday 9:59 am

When are weekly payments taken?
Recurring payments are automatically charged:

  • Every Friday

  • Around 3:00 am

  • When the weekly charge becomes due

Is rent paid in advance or arrears?
Rent is paid in advance for each week of accommodation.

What happens if I don’t pay on time?
If payment is not made within 14 days of the due date, LHA may:

  • Charge interest at an annual rate of 3%, applied daily to the unpaid amount

Can payment amounts change?
Yes. The price may change if:

  • VAT rates change (you will be charged the updated VAT rate)

What is included in the price I pay?
The price shown includes:

  • Rent for accommodation

  • VAT (unless changed later under tax adjustments)

What happens if I don’t check in after paying?
If you do not check in on your booking start date:

  • Your booking is cancelled

  • Your holding deposit is lost

Is the deposit separate from rent?
Yes. There are two stages:

  1. Holding deposit (before arrival)

    • Equivalent to one week’s rent

  2. Licence deposit (after check-in)

    • The holding deposit becomes a licence deposit once you move in

What happens to my deposit when I leave?
After departure:

  • The licence deposit is refunded within 10 working days

  • But deductions may be made for:

    • Damage or loss

    • Unpaid rent or charges

    • Early departure charges under notice rules

If deductions exceed the deposit, you must pay the difference within 14 days of being asked.

What happens if I leave within 14 nights?
If you leave within 14 nights of check-in:

  • You lose your licence deposit

  • Any prepaid rent is not refunded (unless specific prepaid arrangements apply)

  • Deductions for damage may still apply

Do I have to pay if I leave early?
Yes. Depending on timing:

  • If you leave with more than 1 week remaining in your booking and do not provide the required 1 week's written notice (or payment in lieu of notice), you will still be charged for 1 week's accommodation.
  • If less than 1 week remains in your booking, you must pay for the full remaining period of your booked stay, even if you leave early.

Can I be charged after leaving?

Yes. You may be required to pay:

  • Unpaid balances

  • Damage charges

  • Early departure charges (if notice rules are not followed)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

Can I cancel my booking before moving in?
Once LHA London has accepted your booking and the holding deposit is paid, a contract is formed. If LHA cannot accept your booking (e.g. no availability), they will cancel it and no charge will be made.

If you simply do not check in on your arrival date, your booking will be cancelled and you will lose your holding deposit.

What happens if I do not check in on my arrival date?
If you fail to check in on the booked arrival date:

  • Your booking will be cancelled

  • Your holding deposit will be retained by LHA

Can I leave the accommodation early after moving in?
Yes, but only under strict notice rules:

If more than 1 week remains in your booking:

You may end the agreement early if you give:

  • At least 1 week’s written notice, OR

  • Pay 1 week’s accommodation charge in lieu of notice

If you do not provide the required notice or payment in lieu, you will still be charged for 1 week of accommodation, even if you leave early.

If less than 1 week remains in your booking:

You cannot cancel early, and you must pay for the full remaining period of your booking, even if you leave before the end date.

Do I get a refund if I leave early?
Any refund depends on your deposit and charges:

  • The licence deposit is refunded within 10 working days after departure

  • However, LHA may deduct:

    • Damage or loss caused by you

    • Any unpaid charges

    • Any amounts owed under early departure rules (including notice period charges)

If deductions exceed the deposit amount, you must pay the remaining balance within 14 days of being asked.

What happens if I leave within the first 14 nights?
If you vacate the accommodation within 14 nights of checking in:

  • You lose your licence deposit

  • Any prepaid accommodation charges are not refunded

  • (Unless specific prepaid arrangements apply as stated in the contract)

Can I cancel or end the contract if LHA changes terms or prices?
Yes. If LHA:

  • Changes the contract terms, or

  • Increases prices (after you have been in residence more than 2 weeks)

You may end the agreement by giving:

  • 1 week’s written notice

You will still be required to pay:

  • Charges up to your departure date

  • Any outstanding arrears or damage costs

Can LHA terminate my booking early?
Yes. LHA may end your contract in the following ways:

With notice:

  • At least 1 week’s written notice, with no reason required

Immediately (without notice), if:

  • You breach the agreement or resident code of conduct

  • You stop meeting eligibility criteria

  • You fail to provide required information (including ID or right-to-reside checks)

  • You reach the maximum 4-year stay limit

  • Your behaviour is considered unsatisfactory by LHA

What happens financially if LHA ends the contract?
If termination is due to breach:

  • You may receive a refund for any unused period already paid

  • LHA may deduct or charge reasonable compensation for losses caused by your breach

What is the required notice period for leaving?
The standard minimum notice requirement is:

  • 1 week written notice, if early termination is allowed under the contract conditions

Otherwise:

  • You remain liable for the booking period already agreed.

When must I leave the accommodation?
You must leave by 10:00 am on the final day of your booking

  • You must remove all belongings

  • Any items left behind may be stored or disposed of after set time periods (as per contract terms)

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.
