Solo Society

Solo Society is a Kaunas student accommodation that provides its residents with multiple studio types, some of which are twin rooms. Solo Society’s studios have a single or large bed, depending on the room type, or even two beds for twin rooms. The studios also feature a kitchen with all of your needed cooking appliances and tools, which include a microwave, a stove, a refrigerator, and all of your needed plates and cutlery. All rooms are also equipped with a study area (desk and chair) where you can have a focused study session while also offering enough space to store your study materials.

Residents can spend qualified time in their private fully furnished modern rooms with private kitchenette (all utensils included) and private bathroom (with shower and wc), as well they can spend time in various common spaces such as leisure/study rooms, big common kitchens, cinema zone, gaming room, rooftop terrace, meditation room, library and backyard. For their comfort there is safe car parking for low extra fee.

As a start, the property provides various leisure zones where students can meet their flatmates and unwind a little. To keep healthy, you can also make use of the property’s on-site gym. There is also a coffee point at the reception area for a quick morning coffee before your lecture. The property also has a co-working area with a cinema screen. Laundry facilities are also available for your convenience. For maximum security, the property has 24/7 security.

Kaunas is a Lithuanian city located in the south of the country. It was formerly known as Kovno and lies by the Nemunas River and the Neris River. The city had its start as a fortress during the year 1030 and later became a town in the year 1408. Kaunas has seen a turbulent past, as it was often raided by the Teutonic Knights until their defeat in 1410. It wasn’t until 1795 that the city flourished, becoming a market town. 

The city has constantly changed ownership due to its strategic location and was heavily damaged on several occasions, once under Napoleon in 1812 and again during the Second World War.

The modern city, known for its unique award-winning interwar architecture, is often described as “quirky and bohemian”. It also has 40,000 students and 13 higher education institutions, making it among the most student-populated cities.

Solo Society Student house, witha total of 267 private rooms, is located in the very center of Kaunas city, Lithuania, where you reach all universities, shops, markets and other leisure areas by walking distance.  You can enjoy roaming around the main street or go to cinema, it's just around the corner of the building. Walking through buzzing main street full of restaurants, you will get to Old town just in 20 mins.
