Nice convenient location, but noisy. They say quiet hours begin at 10:30PM, but the security team allows large groups of residents to be making a ton of noise in the courtyard into the early morning hours, making it nearly impossible for anyone to get good sleep. There's no air conditioning in the rooms, so having your windows open is a must; however, you then have to deal with sleep deprivation from the extreme noise. Calls to the security team are futile. Everyone signed a contract agreeing to the quiet hours, but they obviously don't care enough about residents to enforce them. Not ideal for anyone who is a student in Dublin.

I have been residing at Dorset point for 3 years and I keep coming back because I love it. I especially love the gym and cinema room because they offer a great break from studying. The friends I have made here will continue for life. The events they did before the pandemic were epic. During the pandemic, they kept them coming virtually to keep the fun alive during hardships of life.

I really enjoyed living in this accommodation for a year. In my experience, the reception and maintenance staff were all super lovely and helpful. The bedroom and shared kitchen/living room were very nice and modern, and had been properly cleaned before my arrival. Dorset Point is also really central, so it's great for shopping and getting to university easily.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoy my stay here! Additionally, it is close to city center, so grocery shopping won't be a problem at all.

I lived here last year and I do not recommend living here at all. The rooms are small, the living room is cold, they didn’t clean properly my room nor my bathroom. Due to COVID-19 regulations they closed the common areas all year, from November till the last week we were staying, such a big coincidence that it was around the same time were new residences were moving in. The manager is unapproachable and I would say that even a little bit racist towards foreign residents. Some people said that she would start speaking quicker to them so that she wouldn’t understand what she was saying. There was an incident this year where she needed a GP to come over to her apartment to do a certain procedure, she denied entrance to the doctor as she claimed “COVID guidelines, no guest allowed”, but this was not guest, this was a doctor who showed his doctoral number of reference and after that she still denied his entry, the girl had to be taken care off inside of a van, not ambulance, a van. After the incident she didn’t allow the girl to present a formal complaint and didn’t give her contact information of her boss or corporate so that she could speak to them. She also has the building security cameras on her phone so that she can watch the residents when she is not around. Very creepy. As I mentioned earlier, the common rooms where closed since November, including Gym, study room, etc. I tried to ask for a partial refund as I paid to use those services, she said she can’t do that and never replied to any of my further emails. The rooftop is closed after 6PM, don’t let them trick you with the “my favorite thing about aparto is watching the sunsets” as they lock it with a key so that we can’t spend time there. The bathroom in the room close to mine has black mole (I have pictures, I just don’t know how to add them here) and my shower takes up to 20 minutes to warm up, when I presented a maintenance complaint they just told me to “let it run for a while”, me and my roommate spent the whole year with no hot water. For the money you are paying here you should really consider moving to another accommodation, you will be paying the same amount of money and will get a more competent manager who is not always trying to make your live impossible, a better room and better common areas. The only good thing to highlight was the security and maintenance employees, they were super nice the whole time and supported us during this very hard year.
