If you are a student in one of the city’s various educational institutions, there are multiple things you can do in Winchester. You can visit the famous Winchester Cathedral, a cathedral with a history that goes back to the 7th century and one of the largest cathedrals in England and Europe. It is the resting place of Saxon royalty, bishops, and Jane Austen, the famous English novelist. Furthermore, you can visit Theatre Royalanother popular Winchester attraction.
