Departments and Divisions
NAFA offers bachelor's degrees, foundation courses, diploma programmes, courses for children, part-time courses, and enrichment programmes. Some of the offered bachelor's degrees are in the fields of design practice, arts management, performance making, music, and instrumental and vocal teaching. Also, NAFA offers diplomas in 3D design, media, advertising, fashion studies, fine art, music, dance, theatre, and more. As for the part-time courses, there are courses in Chinese ink painting, digital imaging, digital video design, furniture making, and many more courses.
Facilities and Resources
NAFA has three main campuses that are equipped with all the facilities students of arts need. All campuses are within walking distance from each other. The first campus has a high definition studio, a creative media studio for 3D animation and special effects, and audio-video production facilities. Also, there are sky-light studios that allow painting in natural, evenly distributed daylight. There are also photography studios equipped with studio flash systems and digital cameras, jewellery workshops with casting, processing and setting facilities, interior design material and project room, drafting studios and 3D model workshops, and 3 art galleries with a total exhibition area of 850 sq m. The campus also includes a library that houses an impressive collection of arts-related publications and journals available for all NAFA students and staff. The second campus of NAFA has workshops for batik printing, textile development and embroidery design, drafting and draping, among other facilities, and houses the fashion studies department. The third and final campus houses a huge studio theatre, a recital hall, soundproof music studios, and dance studios.
