I have been at Unilodge for the past 4 years - 2 years in a studio room and 2 years in a shared standard apartment with a few of my good friends. I enjoyed living in both room types, each with their own pros and cons. The studio room was tiny but the privacy was nice for the first few years of uni where you were getting to know people. Once I found a solid group of friends to live with, the shared apartment was so worth it in regard to space and the ease of seeing your friends. The main reason I stayed at Unilodge was due to the flexibility with rent and the short 10 minute walk to class. :)

Absolutely loved my time here! I was one of the first residents (started living here in 2018) and I haven’t moved out since! Super close to uni and the library, gorgeous views from all rooms and free uni wifi/gym membership! Would highly recommend living here for the first few years - super super friendly and supportive staff so didn’t feel homesick. It’s amazing way to socialise with students in the same or different degrees ???

Been living at JGH for 4 years now and can’t recommend it enough to anyone that’s after a secure, convenient and modern accommodation while studying at jcu. Staffs are lovely, always ready to make the stay the best it can be. So grateful for all that JGH has offered during the past few years!

Terrible place. Its like a prison with a drop of colorful paint! Poorly built, things constantly break. Poorly managed, things take forever to get fixed. And its costs and arm and a leg, all so you can live in a tiny prison cell of a room! I'd prefer to spend my time in Nauru! Not to mention, its in Cairns, DISGUSTING! Save yourself the trouble and get a better ATAR so you can live somewhere nice like Brisbane.
